A Tale of Two Thomases

The tale of the first Thomas in this chapter is about the Thomas from the Bible. This Thomas had a great importance. He was involved in three big events in the Bible. The first being when he went with Jesus to see Lazarus. The second is at the Lord’s Supper, where Thomas didn’t fully understand how everyone was supposed to get to heaven after Jesus died. He was unsure of how to get there if Jesus didn’t tell where he was going. Later, Jesus explains that He is the Way, and they would all meet again. The final story of the biblical Thomas would be “Doubting Thomas”. This story describes how Thomas would not believe that Jesus had risen from the dead until he saw Him himself.
