Twilight: My Favorite Movie
Well, I like movies, a lot. I couldn’t survive without movies. And of course I have my favorite movie. It’s “Twilight”!
I knew that “Twilight” will be my favorite movie when I saw it I was completely in love with the movie. The film is based on a novel “Twilight” written by Stephen Mayer and there are 3 more parts of book,” New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn”. I read them all of course and those are my favorite books. The movie is about a teenage girl Bella and her boyfriend Edward. Edward is a vampire. It’s a beautiful love story like no other: completely different. I’m sure that there will never be a story like this. That’s something what every girl dreams about, a perfect boyfriend who would do anything for her. And I think that the fact that he’s a vampire is so cool. But I don’t like this movie just because it’s a love story, I like it because of Edward. I already said that I love the fact that Edward is a vampire. Il like his superhuman powers. He can read other peoples mind, he’s cold, he can run fast, he’s so strong. I would like to have all of that. But it’s a love story, love story between a girl and a vampire. That’s the sweetest thing.
Ok, I will never like any other movie like I love “Twilight”. I have all my room full of posters of vampires imagine that. To be honest I feel incredible when I watch

I have the hobbies of an average pre-teen 8th grader, as expected. I play LOTS and lots of video games (my favorite game is fallout) and I have and love every kind of video game, and one of my first memories is actually of playing a James Bond game with my dad. If someone were to ask me why I play video games I’d tell them I play them for the same reason you read books or watch movies, except I think they’re better because you actually control the character in the story, or sometimes even create your own story, just as you would do with writing. Other than playing video games I do actually love to read. Except I like reading graphic novels and comic books.. I did actually read regular plain books a lot when I was younger, until I read my first graphic novel (The Walking Dead). They’re just more interesting and I find myself losing interest in regular books quickly. Another one of my hobbies is well… watching television shows/anime! I love both live action and cartoon shows, like Mythbusters, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Black Butler, Invader Zim and Adventure Time. And sorry this paragraph is so long. Bare with me! D: Okay so quickly I’ll say that I absolutely love movies! Horror is what I like best. My favorite movie (Silent Hill) is horror! I can’t say I get very scared watching them anymore unless it’s a really really good movie and actually can scare me, it has been a loong time since I saw a scary horror movie. Because I’ve seen sooo many! Other movies I really love are Borat, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Coraline, Corpse Bride, Sinister, and A Nightmare Before Christmas.…

The super silly, slow, and repetitive books series Twilight is addictive and Sady Doyle can't stop reading it. However, the book series has its right place that's needed in the teen age girls market. It takes them away from the horror of puberty. Both, the books and the movies series were a huge hit, even the soundtrack was in the top selling albums. Yet, its girlish key success factor also was the reason of the big backlash against it. The Twilight fan base was really ridiculed and mocked by every important magazine and newspaper. The Twilight fans were not welcomed in the geeks’ world, the quality of the books and the movies sets it apart from other super heroes’ horror stories.…

There are many critics that are upset with the series. The fans have been called “Squealing hordes”. Even though Twilight is considered to be unwarranted or said not to have any substance to the storyline, the teenage girls continue purchase the books to read and continue to flock to these films. They are considered to be empty headed as they shriek while the credits roll. Doyle defends the female audience that is attracted to this film and its story plot instead of defending the fantasy script itself. Doyle understands that it may not be the best of literature writing, but because this series is fulfilling to the fantasies of many teenage girls and holds their interest, which is the force behind the success of this book series and film productions.…
