Twelve Leaders Of The Hierarchy Summary
It wasn’t unusual for a Viceroy to request an audience with one of the many assistants to the Twelve Leaders of the Hierarchy on their views concerning planetary rule. However, for the past few months, the Twelve Leaders of the Hierarchy request the attention of all the Planet’s Viceroys to speak with them face to face. All knew why their areas Viceroys left their areas within their charge, and all waited anxiously to hear their words when they returned. The reason for this fear and excitement was simple and most profound. The Twelve Leaders of the Hierarchy had a task like no other. The Twelve Hierarchies had a choice to make soon and the list of Viceroys who had passed the brain scans to insure their conversations were truthful …show more content…
These very few families numbered only twelve, but the first to be forced by the new World Ruler remain steadfast, the others crumbled. The daughter was tested with the other eleven girls and their results were called vitals. These vitals were compared to the billions upon billions of young women from 20 to 24 years of age. She didn’t come close to the best and the embarrassment did show on her face when it was announced, but she was allowed to stay. There were only twelve girls chosen and each were now called Levels and given a strange device that caused all but one to smile. The device was to show proof that they had what was once commonly called a Blind Date. This Blind Date was to see if the person they were to get to know only once from the winning countries was suitable for marriage. Oh, but the new World Ruler warned them that the separation of husband and wife called divorce was now against the law and the mistreatment of a husband to wife or wife to husband would be severely …show more content…
“We both know this is a joke, so let’s just say we had a laugh and end it there. You maybe the best looking girl of the bunch, but I know someone who would probably have a hard time reading a children’s story if it has more than pictures.” And, the honeymoon was over with the declaration of war that was just signed by this tall, handsome, and clearly stupid idiot! He could’ve let her have a moment more in a wonderful fantasy, but had to open his mouth and remove all doubt that his mother wasn’t finished tenderizing his butt. Well, she didn’t mind helping out the woman and complete the job she clearly didn’t finish. “You seem to me like a boy who has some intelligence, so I will try to use small words and speak slowly. Somewhere between your left and right ear, they may be a very small particle called a brain cell. I know it may be deformed, partially functioning, or taking a nap at the moment. However, in place of me, forcing it to wake up and exploding, I’ll lower my voice as I let you in on a little secret,” she then whispered, softly and even slower. “I now have proof that handsome also comes in the flavor of stupid,” she now spoke in her normal voice. “I have had a hard time listening to one compliment after another, and little else. At lease, you’re the only guy who didn’t start off with how special you are and how lucky I am to be in the same room with you. Then and again, I might have been hasty on the, you

After reviewing Module Six “Leadership and Followership”, the concept that I felt was most important was Diversity Awareness. The reason it is the most important is because when everyone joins the military, every person does not necessarily know, where the person standing next to them are from or what type of culture they grew up in. With that being said, Diversity Awareness is important because we have to educate ourselves and our Airmen to identify and respond to the requirements of different individuals, which is diversity awareness. By doing so, we grow working relationships which affect the efficiency of a person, the duty that they are undertaking and ultimately the mission.…

All types of organizations have social structures, pecking orders, and patterns of behavior, including habits governing dress, language, food and things alike. Important dimensions include the reward system, organizational clarity, standards of performance, warmth and support, and leadership practices. An evaluation of these and other dimensions of organizational climate can be used to determine whether that organization is exploitive, impoverished, supportive, or enlightened.…

“Leadership Archetype Questionnaire” (LAQ) takes into consideration the psychodynamic processes that occur within individuals and the concept of inner traits (Northouse, 2016). I completed archetype leadership self-assessment and compiled the 360 feedback from five colleagues and family members. I fit most with the models of coach, builder, strategist, transactor, processor, and change catalyst. I do not see any gaps or misalignments between the results of my assessment and how I perceive myself in leadership. I am aware of my skills, and traits. Those are my strengths. I believe that is why I am often placed in the roles of the empathetic, influencer leader who motivates the team.…

According to Plato, leadership is not just a power or decision-making authority; it is the system and process developed to establish the culture and how things are done in an organization or government. The nature of leadership should be driven by what is right and what is just. Plato believed that a monarch who served the best interest of the citizens was preferred to direct democracies that act to serve their own personal interest. According to Plato, leaders should serve the good of the people and not the good of the rulers or themselves. Plato felt that good leaders could only be men wise in years with education and experience. A person leads based on their knowledge,…

"Yeah, I can. And you forgot your stuff out here so I took it upon myself to pick out your outfit for the rest of the day." He pointed to some clothes on the edge of the bed. His eyes never leaving the TV screen. I went over to look at what he had picked out. "Don't just stand there and look at it. Put it on." He laughed, as I put the dress on and walked over to the mirror next to the bathroom door. I looked at every inch of myself in the dress. "What's wrong Melody? You don't like it?" He was now sitting on the edge of the bed.…

All I could think about was the discussion she was having. Instantaneously, I realized she was organizing something. Her brother had been drafted the same day as Ike, and ever since then she had been up to something. I scurried closer to her and tried hard to listen in on her conversation. I leaned closer and closer, but I could hear nothing. I tried coming closer once more. Thump! I feel down next to the girl. “Don’t be such a spaz!” She blurted while lending a hand. I grasped it tightly and stood up.…

First,” she started lifting up one finger, “the work won’t be a problem because you’re smart. Matter of fact academic wise you are undoubtedly the smartest person in your class. You don’t do homework, sleep in class, and barely pay attention. Yet somehow, some way you’re still top ranked top five out of every senior in the school. Second, you don’t go to parties because for some odd reason it seems like you try to separate yourself from people. In order to fully understand the difference in viewpoints there was a need to understand the fundamental difference between “practice” verses “discipline”. Generally, when one thinks of the term practice they think of repetition that leads to gradual improvement while discipline is more of a controlled behavior that is dictated or regulated to enforce an agreement of pre-set standards. When examining the table, it appears that Kouzes and Posner views leadership as a collective effort where they are more open, flexible, and inclusive of others throughout the process. In contrast, Senge states a vision and appears to force obliging with such vision. Where Kouzes and Posner have a more open approach to collaborative efforts, Senge approach…

In 1165, a child was born in the heart of Asia. It is said that when he was born, he was clutching a blood clot-a sign from Heaven that he was destined to be a great warrior. His name is Genghis Khan, meaning "Universal Ruler". The word Khan is not a name, but a title. It means emperor or king. This word had been used by different tribes or nations in various forms in central Asia. Genghis Khan is the most greatest among those Khans.(Abbott, 1902) His life was about to become a legend in human history. Many people believe that his story is full of butchering people and some scholars even compared him to Hitler. The real character of Genghis Khan, however, is far more intriguing. How did this illiterate outcast turn the feuding tribes of Mongolia into a powerful nation? And how did he transform the Mongol hordes into a ruthless and disciplined fighting machine?…

The age-old question continues to raise its ugly head: Are leaders born to lead, or are they made? Does Leadership DNA exist? We often point to one person or the other and say, “Now, he’s a leader,” without giving a lot of thought to how this person became a leader in the first place. Sometimes it is easy to simply conclude that some of us have the leadership gene and some of us do not. Those who do get to lead, while those who do not are forever assigned to the sidelines while leaders have all the fun, make all the decisions, and cover themselves in glory. This comes as rather unsettling news for those of us who fear we may get the opportunity to lead. What hope do we have that we can ever aspire to lead people, teams, companies, organizations, even our children?…
