Respected chief director , members of the jury , teachers and my dear a“A” which is going to speak in favour of the topic “ FAST FOOD IS INJURIOUS TO HEALTH”

In my opinion i think that fast food is injurious to health because Eating frequent fast food meals causes teens and young adults to gain more weight and face an increased risk of developing insulin resistance. fast food can make you obese and can also cause diabetes, heart disease, and very high blood pressure which can cut over 20 years of your life. Fast food obesity is extremely strenuous for the entire body, which was never intended to carry that much extra weight. Your heart will also end up working harder than it should, which eventually leads to obesity heart disease. Usually, fast food is higher in soya, fat, sugar, oil, fried meat, salt, cheese, mayonnaise and obviously calories. The greatest disadvantage of fast food is the adverse effect that it has on one's health. It is a fact that fast food is more unhealthy than home-cooked meals, as it contains higher amounts of unwanted nutrients like salt, fat and various types of additives (artificial chemicals). It may contain harmful bacteria too. Frying destroys most of the essential nutrients from the food. Very small amounts of vegetables and fruits are normally present in fast food. Moreover, 'serving larger portions' when most people don't need extra portions has led to several health problems. We require a small amount of salt to maintain the health of the cells and tissues. Fast food being rich in salt, adversely affects the heart health and the overall health of an individual. Such type of food is an important contributor to obesity in the American population. Obesity is on the rise, and a direct link is being cited between fast food and obesity in children. Eating fast food is completely routine for many individuals --- often heading to a drive-thru multiple times per week, or even multiple times per day. While eating fast food is

The health consequences of eating these foods include higher cholesterol, higher blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and obesity. Additionally, fast food doesn’t provide basic of balanced nutrition. It lacks essential vitamins and mineral, fiber, and antioxidants. Another health factor is that eating fast food in large amounts creates poison in the body because there are so many additive chemicals for the preservation of the “food”. So, in other words we can say that Americans are buying poison in the form of fast food. Further, the fast food dinning experience disconnects the consumer of the food completely from the place the food came from whether it be a farmer, a miller, the butcher or even the cook. The consumer simply interacts with a plastic sign, a cash register, a plastic tray and an unmotivated dude with a headset in a ridiculous uniform.…

A common meal consisting of a cheeseburger, French fries, and a soda is packed with calories, fat, sugar, and salt which strips away your body’s energy leaving you feeling sluggish and lazy. Though those effects may only last a few hours, the long term effects of continually eating fast food can cause many health problems such a heart disease, high cholesterol that can cause heart attacks, and obesity; all linking to a potentially shorter life span. Many fast food commercials, McDonalds for example, portray their food as fresh, natural, and made from quality ingredients. There really is nothing fresh or natural about the French fries or chicken nuggets from McDonalds. The “vegetables” used are loaded with oils for taste and are used days later. Pastes that are packed with disgusting preservatives are used for meats and items you would not expect…
