Trump to Presidency The president of 2017 may not have been what many were expecting and probably one of the most hated result, but it everything came down to Trump defeating Hillary Clinton and his first one hundred days in office. Our president today is the identity of Donald Trump through one cause and a whole lot of effects, leading to the United States of America we know today. Was it a good choice? Everything came down to the brawl and competition between Clinton and Trump in the presidential race. Besides Clinton’s email leak and her flaws, the main cause of Trump’s win over Hillary was due to more votes for Trump in a majority of the swing states and reaching the 270 electoral votes to claim the presidency. With the new ban, we watched as families cry in despair and a new set of protect calling Trump and America racist. This changes the way many countries view the U.S. negatively, along with heated tempers, unleashing inspiration for Trump impeachment. Not only does the ban affect those 7 countries, but also thousands of people living in America really trying to become a U.S. Citizen as quickly as possible due to their fear of being removed from America. People fear for their lives, scattering for help and answers and some people like my father, are hesitant to leave the country, believing Trump will ban them …show more content…
The greater affecting actions include repealing the Affordable Care Act affecting millions of people with Obama Care and higher cost for those from 50 to 64 years of age. Voting for Trump, Americans has to deal with other executive orders such as withdrawing from the TPP, a government hiring freeze, more pipelines, cutting funds for sanctuary cities, taxes for a wall along the US border with Mexico, two new travel bans, and expenses to defeating ISIS. Trump’s proposed budget plans will lower the spending for every other category except for veteran affairs, homeland security, and defense, therefore budget for things like environmental protection agency, labor, justice, education, and health and human services will decrease by 14 to 31 percent. This means for those that are not veterans, they will be receiving fewer fulfillments. It doesn’t end there yet, Trump has been getting into warfare lately, ordering 59 cruise missiles on Syrian airfields and military infrastructure. Well it’s great to destroy bases, but these strikes caused tension between U.S. and Russia, as Russian fleets travel near US destroyers, warning Trump. On April 13, 2017 Trump ordered the US military to drop the mother of all bombs on Afghanistan, but it comes with a hefty price tag, upsetting many citizens who are ranting about the waste of money on warfare, instead improving the improving the education system and improving the

Trump claims that the countries on the list were responsible for 9/11. The original order also stated that green card holders and people with valid visas to work in the United States could not travel between our country and theirs until a more effective and efficient vetting system was put in place.
