Treaty Of Versailles's Impact On The Outbreak Of The Second World War
The Treaty of Versailles had an impact on the outbreak of the Second World War in numerous way. (1) It was an unfair treaty, it had Germany take full responsibility of the first World War, the treaty stated that Germany had to pay for all the war damaged which was later set at about 6 billion dollars. Also the treaty called for Germany to have no air force and also reduced the German army to 100,000 men. (2) The impact of the Treaty of Versailles made German citizens upset, the government of Germany sought after fair treatment. Germany was not able to take a stand and make a demand against the treaty and had to accept it. During this time the U.S was going through the Great Depression and was not able to lend money to Germany to help them pay
