b. Relevance: Travi$ Scott, born Jacques Webster, is a Houston-innate hip-hop artist and producer associated with T.I.'s Grand Hustle and Kanye West's GOOD Music.
c. Credibility Statement: I have respected Travi$ Scott’s music creativity since 2009, when he collaborated a duo with Chris Holloway called The Graduates and released an EP on MySpace.

Instantly, his profile grew and it didn’t hurt with the exposure of XXL Magazine's Freshman Class of 2013. According to Complex (2015), delays due to sampling and copyright issues arising, he finally released his first mixtape Owl Pharaoh May 2013. ii. Experiencing music live is not the conventional way, but it is truly illustrious and unmatched to virtual. The uncensored and ingenious are best witnessed in first-person, especially when attending Travi$ Scott. On March 14th, 2014, I first-handedly witnessed Travi$ Scott perform a new single titled “Don’t Play” (tentatively entitled 1975) featuring Big Sean at SXSW. This was Travi$ Scott promoting his upcoming mixtape Days before Rodeo, which released in august 2014. iii. Following the success of Days before Rodeo, on Twitter Scott announced his headline tour The Rodeo Tour with Rich Gang rapper Young Thug and producer Metro Boomin’ which allowed him to expand throughout the music industry. Travi$ creativity is sublime with his concerts. The vibe that spreads throughout roaring crowd is truly breathtaking. c. Point #3: Despite being discovered at a young age, Scott has barely completed his purpose within the music industry
i. Specifically, on September 4, 2015, Scott’s first studio album Rodeo was released. Singles including “Antidote” and “3500” supported Rodeo. As a result, Rodeo debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 and also debuted at number one on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart.
1. According to Rolling Stone (2015), Rodeo listed at number 33 for best album of the year, while Complex (2015) placed it at number 36 on its "Best Albums of 2015" ranking. ii. On February 8, 2016 Vic Mensa and iLoveMakonnen announced that Travi$ Scott will be part of an Alexander Wang's campaign entitled "WANGSQUAD." In addition, Scott has been trying to create his own clothing line, although few obstacles have occurred. iii. Although Travi$ keeps his moves discrete, he has announced another mixtape upcoming in the beginning of 2017. In addition, Travi$ continues to unexpectedly offer the audience with songs from time to time.
