But he shows caring to everyone, Raphael is a boy with a lot of strength and that wants to get somewhere in life before he dies, he is also a good friend.

Gardo ( Raphael's friend) is like a big brother to Raphael says Raphael, they have known each other since they were born kind of, he is stronger than Raphael even though they are the same age, but he is also protective, he will never live Raphael alone when danger is coming.
Gardo is like a friend that never lives you alone is a person you can trust at all time, he feels the same as Raphael in a way you can't explain, for example when Raphael gets arrested he also feels like he also got arrested, it is like Raphael and Gardo are the same person, like there were siblings or twins.
Raphael says that Gardo is like a brother to him, showing that he is a really caring person to everyone. You can trust Gardo if you are in any situation he is a really good friend he is always there for you when you are in need

A driving force and reoccurring symbol and element in Nicolas Dickner's novel Nikolski is garbage; representing connected yet distinct meanings for each of the three main characters. For the unnamed narrator it represents putting old memories to rest and starting on his own path. To Joyce trash also catalyses a new beginning, however this is caused by the reinvention of things discarded much in the same way as she ways. Noah as well finds his identity buried beneath layers of waste, but he also finds stability and the concept of things permanent and complete, trash being a place of dissimilitude, functioning as a field of study and wonder. The element of garbage not only propels the plot forward, but ties the characters together in a tight and intricate web.…

From the day Vincent was born, he had always been concidered as highly flawed, and as an 'invalid'. His parents were planning on carrying on the family name with their first born child by calling Vincent, Anton, after his father, Antonio. However, once finding out that Vincent was prone to illness' such as neurological disorder, manic depression, attention deficit disorder, heart failure, and was expected to live for only 30.2 years, Vincent's father felt that he wasn't worthy of the family name, and decided to call him Vincent Anton instead. Mother and Father, Maria and Antonio had a second child, who Antonio felt was worthy of the family name, because unlike Vincent who was conceived the natural way, Anton was born through genetic engineering. As the two boys grew up, Anton was always considered superior to Vincent as he was always upstaging him at everything they did. Until one day, when the two boys played a game of chicken. Like usual, Anton was expecting Vincent to turn around and swim back to shore. However, no matter how much effort he put into trying to beat his brother, Anton and Vincent were neck and neck the whole swim. Anton was confused at how Vincent still had the energy to swim, and finally Anton wasn't able to go on any longer and he gave up. Passing out and starting to drown, Vincent saved his brother's life. For the first time in their lives, Vincent was better than Anton at something. Even though everybody believed that he wasn't good enough to acheive his goals, Vincent now believed that he could achieve anything that he set his mind to. Vincent decided to run away from home and he got a job as a janitor at Gattaca. This was his first glimpse of Gattaca, and he liked what he saw.…

The film text 'Gattaca', directed by Andrew Niccol can be seen as a piece that draws many parallels to the world that we live in today. One such parallel is the fact that often in society, the ones who are at a disadvantage are the ones who display the greatest strength of character. Niccol uses Vincent as the vehicle through which he demonstrates how strength of character can neutralise and overcome disadvantages faced. Gattaca portrays a society that no longer takes into consideration a person’s character. Vincent's refusal to 'play the hand he was dealt' is his key to success.…

Vittorio is also starting to feel isolated from everyone at school “I was alone now, without friends, and it quickly became clear what my status was with the other boys … I was merely shunned, and could not make out with the insults which they whispered to each other in class …” (pg. 107) This shows that Cristina is not only causing problems for herself and the grandfather but also for her son. Vittorio feels alone, due to his mother’s actions Vittorio gets abused physically and mentally by his peers. She ruined what little relationship he had with the other boys at school. “It’s that woman’s fault, all of this, she thinks she’s free as a bird, she doesn’t think about other people. Who did this to you?” This quote proves that the reason for Vittorio getting beat up is his mother’s fault.…

First, I agree with what she states about friendship because everyone needs friends. She states how having friends makes Vito have more authority. The friends help him be stronger and have more respect. When you have good friends, you create a good support system, and when someone tries to mess with you, you know they will always be there to help you out. It is kind of an unwritten law that everyone just knows. The friends that turned into family made him a stronger brick wall. For example, Clemenza and Tessio were always there for the Don after he established a strong relationship. Friendship can potentionally make a person stronger, and with the help of his friends, it can help him become more successful. Don Vito is a good role model because he made friends and showed just how important it is to have good, close friends.…

Gattaca is a dystopian film directed by Andrew Niccol. It is set in the 'not-too-distant future' where discrimination is based on your genetic makeup and has become the defining factor of your societal class. One character that changed throughout the film is Jerome Morrow. The beginning portrayed him as a cold and depressed valid that had been in an unfortunate accident, costing him his legs. As the film progressed, due to Vincent, Jerome became more compassionate and caring, although still depressed over his failure to live up to his genetic potential. Niccol used camera angles, dialogue, and symbolism to effectively show Jerome’s change of character.…

The state that Fillipo is in when Michele finds him demonstrates how much more damage men can do compared to monsters. They had treated him like rubbish and like he was an animal. He believed that he was no longer human, he didn’t feel as if he was alive and he was acting “like a dog”. They had let him rot away, “clotted blood had sealed his eyelids. His lips were black and split. His nostrils were blocked up with snot and scabs.” The fact that men could do this to a child is outrageous. It suggest that they are immoral and are inhumane, but more importantly it shows why it is more important to fear men instead of monsters. As well as fearing grown men, it can be intelligent to be scared of children.…
