Once upon a time there was a beast called The Night Devil. He lives in the woods some say in a far out and hidden cave is dark. It came to be known by the people of the village of Igopolo. As one day there was heavy fog slowly moving around the woods, two beaver trappers got lost and wandered off in the woods. Havinge been missing for the whole day and all night, a few volunteers set out to go loock for them as there was still fog. After a few hours of searching, the volunteersthey feared that the trappersthey may have walked into a pack of wolves or a hungry bear. They set out to look for tracks or any indications that something else happened., Aas they searched to find tracks, two of the ten men that went out to search for them came …show more content…
Everyone trying to raise fletcher up above and on top of the ledge so everyone else could climb up. But as they have very slow progress the creature gets closer and closer. Right as fletcher got over the ledge and he rope was sent down the creature came out of nowhere and they all hurried to climb the rope one after another. Everyone on top of the ledge tried throwing rocks and what ever else was around trying to get his attention of the other men. The rocks did nothing to the huge monster and it ran after those climbing the rope as it picked one by one of the rope tossing them back to the ground. They both New sooner or later the beast would catch the scent of them so they had to move on and make a run for it towards the village. As they still had a few miles to travel to arrive they tried to hustle and use all there energy as the y where si frighten to me killed my the beast. Then after they both could see the lights of the town they heard the loud growls of the beast. They were si frightens as they did not know how close it was to them.
Being so close to arriving to the village they could hear the loud steps of the beast they shouted and cried for help and many men heard and came funny to the aid of the men yelling at the top of there lungs. As every man in la village came running with there rifles at hand they lined up wating for what ever was coming. The two men yelled” beast, beast behind us” the men at the front of the village where confused but after the loud growls of the creature they Knew something big was coming towards
