2.4 Training site, trainers and material
All training process from beginning to the end needs to be ready properly. Good training site, trainers and material can give positive effect and also can make training process more effective without any problem. For training site, the suitable site we use is fan-type seating or horseshoe arrangement. Fan-type seating show that learners can work in small groups on exercises and projects, trainer can move between groups during lectures and activities, also good for courses that require a lot of group work. Whereas, for horseshoe arrangement the non-verbally encourages participation by allowing eye contact between the trainer and all the learners, the trainer is able to move closer to each learner, works well when all learners must be able to see a demonstration and works good when learners will be involved in large group discussions. Choose suitable site for training is important to make trainers presenting can be understand by trainees. The activities or demonstration will do with comfortable between trainers and trainees.
Choose right trainers can make learning process easy to conduct. If we wrong choose the trainers, the learning process become difficult. That make the trainees difficult get the knowledgeable, skill or all of information about career in catering & hospitality completely. The trainers must be someone who know about company, know about career that involve in job, know how to complete the task, know how to give motivation and so on. Then, when the trainers become active the trainees also can become excited to learn something new in training process. So, the training process will end with successfully.
All of the material need suitable for training process and can be used properly. That means the material also important to be prepared. For example, facilitator material, support material and course content must be prepared. Facilitator material such as table, chair, LCD, speaker and computer is needed to
