Nobody is quintessential and we all need help with something in life, whether it involves a project for school, homework, a video or board game, on the other hand, even an activity or sport. For example, track is a sport which merely only a handful of people run. So obviously not everyone who joins will know how to do every event or any certain event they want to pursue. Not to mention, not everyone can start out of blocks correctly, yet not everyone is supposed to. All events have a certain craftsmanship one has to learn, especially if you are in field events: long jump, triple jump, high jump, discus, or shot put. When this occurs, the coaches, as well as, the other children who have experience on the track and the field helps out. Coming to an original sport that is exceptionally complex with scads of rules and techniques can be arduous to learn and that is when helpers come out their way to lend a hand. …show more content…
One year during track season, three girls, inexperienced, decided they wanted to join track. Obviously, the coaches showed them how to do everything and trained them but they still did not catch on and that is where I came in. The girls were having trouble with triple jump and honestly, it is pretty tough. During the practices I would pull the off, one on one, and show they how to start off and run from one foot and land one the other as you jump from that one to end up jumping again and landing in the sand pit with both feet. After a few practices and multiple run throughs, they finally got it down pat and thanked me for the extra work I put in for them. It felt great to help someone in need out and made me feel like a better
