Tourism can bare great economic value to a country, due to a number of factors which can very from country to country. Firstly, tourism provides foreign exchange without exporting anything out of the country and it provides a more stable source of income for the country than any other industry. Secondly, the amount of visitor’s expenditure that remains in an area provides a source of income for local businesses and residents, as well as the increased development of the area and the possibility of new jobs being created.…

Many people emphasize the benefits that human society could have from the generous idea of tourism. Mass tourism creates more employment for the locals that could be a great help in bringing up the standard of living of the people. The host countries can enjoy the opportunity to show off their uniqueness and the culture, while the tourist can learn more about the people and their cultures that exist in the same world. It definitely broadens our horizons as we can have better understanding of the people and places. It is very important to raise awareness among travelers of their responsibilities towards the places that they visit, the respect that they should have for other cultures and the environment. Undoubtedly tourism has also played a vital role in the development of human civilization and in bringing people closer together.…

*“Should countries encourage tourism?*” Due to the curiosity and their taste for adventure, people travel all over the world. But it depends on us if we encourage this thing in our country or not. Tourism brings a lot of changes in a country, but are they really for the better? To begin with, the benefits of the tourism cannot be denied. On the one hand, it is an important source of income, which is convenient for all the countries, especially for the poor ones, but also for others that do not have other industries to develop. For example, Crete has recently developed this industry and, therefore a big percent of the island’s income comes from tourism. In addition, the desire to attract certain tourists to a certain area often encourages governments to improve local facilities so that they can cater for all tastes. This is an important element for many countries, such as Romania, Bulgaria because this helps them develop. Finally, tourism allows the locals to experience other cultures. Some of them may never travel out of their town or country and this is how they can get in contact with other cultures. On the other hand, there are also a few disadvantages that tourism brings. The over-development of some areas leads to ugly, crowded tourist spots and environmental damage. There are many exotic or picturesque places that can be dramatically damaged by the action of the tourists. Another negative effect is that the impact of tourism may destroy the local way of life. People can be influenced by the tourists in many aspects, such as giving up some traditions, not using the local goods anymore. Taking everything into consideration, it seems to me that tourism is a very important field in economy, but it needs a lot of careful attention, so that its effects do not damage the…

(IFTTA) 2.2 Interaction between host and the guest Tourism is mostly interaction between two different cultures and international people. Tourists as the guests and local community as the hosts are affecting each other also the destination in negative or positive ways. (David Weaver, Laura Lawton-2002) The characteristics, aspects, attribution and the quality of residents are altered by consequences of the development process when a community becomes target destination for tourism. The success and the maximized benefit depend on the attraction and service quality. Therefore the hospitality and cooperation of local residents are required. It is essential to comprehend host reactions and the elements that influence these attitudes in order to achieve the objective of positive, approvable and friendly support for tourism development. Residents’ assistance to tourism industry is modified, increase or decrease by the level of concern, socio-cultural preciousness, appreciable costs and benefits, of industry’s development. That is to say it is cited “since tourism relies heavily upon the goodwill of local residents, their support is essential for its development, successful operation and sustainability”. (Gürsoy, Uysal, Jurowski-2001) 2.2.1 Community perception and attitude “Heightened tension and community divisiveness can occur over tourism development, pitting tourism supporters against non-supporters. Also, tension between residents…

The lender obtains an assurance that the property can generate enough income to service the debt. The buyer is shown that indeed there are sizeable number of potential guests and certainly enough of them to create a profit.…
