Invention of the year 2009 “The Sixth Sense technology” is a invention to bridge the gap between intangible digital information and digital world. It is new innovative technology developed by Pranav Mistry of MIT. Sixth sense uses the internet into a sixth human sense. Sixth sense is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital information and helps to interact with information with natural hand gestures. The Sixth Sense prototype is comprised of pocket projector, a mirror, camera, mobile wearable device. Both the projector and the camera are connected to the mobile computing device in the user’s pocket. The projector projects visual information enabling surfaces, walls and physical objects around us to be used as interfaces; while the camera recognizes and tracks user's hand gestures and physical objects using computer-vision based techniques. The software program processes the video stream data captured by the camera and tracks the locations of the colored markers (visual tracking fiducials) at the tip of the user’s fingers using simple computer-vision techniques.…

There is a new ultra-hard glass that I want that is strong as metal, which can help keep phone screens not crackable. Screens are bigger in some phones like Samsung, EE, Alcatel, Blackberry, Sony, and more. Some older models of phones like iPhone, Verizon, Android, and more have smaller screens than the new models because technology was less long time ago. The phone model that I like is the Asus FonePad 8. Asus FonePad 8 has a 8 inch screen making the screen very useful to read information from. The phone is like a tablet, but the difference is that the phone can make phone calls. The screen resolution of this phone is 1280 by 800 pixels. The talk time of this phone is 21 hours which is more impressive than most phones. The phone is an Android OS with a great storage of 8 GB or 16 GB. The phone can be held with one hand, so it can be taken by anyone to work as the screen is big enough to see information like…

Then, Jobs touched the screen. Suddenly, the featureless rectangle became an interactive surface. Jobs placed a fingertip on an on-screen arrow and slid it from left to right. When his finger moved, the arrow moved with it, unlocking the phone. To some people, this interaction between a human finger and an on-screen image was more amazing than all of its other features combined.…

The motivation for this project was to create an intuitive glove-based pointing device for multiple applications. The hope was to be able to create not just a working project but a fully-developed device in terms of intuitive functionality and practical, usable features. We note that past ECE 4760 project groups and outside hobbists have developed similar pointing devices, some glove-based and some not. While our end goals were similar to some previous projects, our intent was to only reference their projects as proof of the feasibility of our idea and ultimately to develop a more elegant, full solution to further the “glove mouse initiative”…

    1. Introduction The aim behind the project is to be able to sense the movement of a user’s hand and use it to control the movement of mouse on screen. For sensing hand movement, we use an accelerometer. This would give us the acceleration sensed by the device in each axis. We use this data to find the change in movement of mouse pointer, which is then transmitted serially to the host computer using RS 232 communication. 2. High Level Design…
