TOPIC 1: Describe your best holiday, party or event in your life. When was it? Where? Why?
Last summer, I and my friends went to Vung Tau by motorbike. We had two interesting days there. We start at 6a.m. Everyone gathered at Ben Thanh Market. After about one and a half hour, we got to Long Thanh stop station. We stopped there for 15 minutes and enjoyed the fresh milk which is a special drink there. Then we continued riding to Vung Tau city. After 1 hour we got there. We stayed in a nice hotel from which we could see the beach and it was certainly a good view. Then we went around the city and visited many interesting places. We took a lot of photos during our trips. Then we stopped for lunch at a seafood restaurant. The foods there were, I must say, extremely delicious. Then we got back to the hotel and rested for 3 hours. We went to the beach at about 4p.m. The water was so warm at we played under the sun. We also tried driving canoe and playing parachute. It was quite an unforgettable experience. At night, we went to the beach at took part in a local party. We danced and enjoy the beach at night. The day after we got back to Ho Chi Minh City. Although it was almost 5 months since I went on that trip but I will never for every memory about it. it was the most exciting trip I have ever gone in my life.

Who has manipulated my mind in relation to reality? I believe that society has manipulated my mind in relation to reality in some way because I think that reality is just a state of mind. The physical aspect of the things I can see, touch, taste, etc. make me believe that everything I encounter is factual. Also society says to believe only what you believe to be real and don’t believe in fantasy because you have no physical connections to imagination.…

A topic sentence essentially tells what the rest of the paragraph is about. This paper sets out to assess whether there is a potential use for images collected through the increasingly ubiquitous use of CCTV cameras in Lipa City as a means of increasing understanding of the causes of road traffic accidents. Information on causation and contributory factors is essential as a means of understanding why accidents occurred and how the occurrence of similar events may be prevented in the future. CCTV records of accidents could provide an independent perspective on an accident and have the potential to increase both the quality and quantity of information available to the safety researcher. This study focuses on an area of central Leeds in the Lipa City and shows that an existing CCTV camera system used for urban traffic management reasons has the potential to record around a quarter of the accidents which occur in the area, based on patterns of past occurrence. By the introduction of additional strategically placed cameras and replacement of existing cameras with ones dedicated to accident recording, this figure could be increased substantially. The paper also considers how effective cameras and video records will be as a means of identifying contributory factor information once an accident is recorded. The contributory factor classification used by a recently introduced system in Britain is assessed in terms of how visible each of the factors is likely to be on video and their relative frequency of occurrence. It is concluded that CCTV has a high potential to provide corroborative evidence about many of the most commonly occurring factors, and to throw further light on accident causation.…

Today, I would like to tell you about my best vacation. A few summers ago, my sister, her colleagues and me took a vacation to Nha Trang for 5 days. As you know, vacation was special days! We visitted many well-known places such as: Vinpeal Land, Hon Tam Island, Diamond Bay, Thap Ba Pagoda,...and so on. On the way riding in the cable car to go to Vinpeal Land, we saw several jelly fish in the very blue water. It is the first time I have ever seen an extremely beautiful view like that, so I felt very interested and relaxed. We stayed there all day to play games, visit the aquarium, take photographs,... We spent another day diving into the sea to view the colorful coral. At the moment I felt anxious because I couldn't swim, but when I saw the coral, its beauty made me fogot all thing. In the next day, I took a boat for some where that I don't know to eat seafood such as: fish, cuttle fish, shrimp,...The food was so fresh and delicious. At night, we rent bicycle to ride along the seacoast. It was so romantic journey. After we utterly exhausted, we droped in shift shop where we ate lobster, grilled meat roll and drank sugar-cane juice... The last day before came back home, we went to the market to buy speacialities and souvenirs for our family and fiends. Although I got sick after the vacation but I felt so happy from my heart. I’ll write about a place to travel. That is Vung Tau Sea in Vung Tau city. It is one of the interesting places to visit for a holiday. It is about 100 kilometers from HCMC and can be reached by car or motorbike. It is crowded every day with domestic and foreign visitors. There are a lot of hotels near the beach, so you can rent a room and enjoy the beautiful sea views. The beach is very nice with smooth sand and the sea is very clean with small waves striking the shore. This is really fantastic with fresh air therefore you can go for a stroll on the beach and build sandcastles, pick up stones, shell-fish or crab. The weather is humid; you can swim in the sea. Domestic visitors like to sunbathe because Vietnam is a hot country. At night, you walk along the street near the beach; you can see a lot of cafés. They are beautifully decorated with chandeliers rolling down from the ceiling when you walk past the front door. Whenever I come here, the first thing I do is swim, then have a party and take lots of pictures with my friends. It’s unforgettable. If you have time, you can stop by seafood market to buy seafood for your parents or you can drop by a souvenir store to buy souvenirs for your friends because it’s very cheap. You will have a wonderful time when you here. When I come here I feel very happy and relaxed. All the stress and worries go away with the laughter and fun I have here. I think I really enjoy this place. I’ll come here on my next…
