Corriveau offers a fun and passionate tale of Boston history, and despicable doings that suffers from some inelegant storytelling decisions. 13-year-old Tony DiMarco was always in the shadow of his older star athlete brothers, when his late Uncle Angelo left his Boston home at 13 Hangmen Court to Tony with the requirement that Tony sleep in his uncle’s attic bedroom, the family happily moves in. Tony’s father is suspicious about Uncle Angelo’s death, Tony investigated with help from his uncle as a 13-year-old boy and other 13-year-olds who lived in that room in the past. Tony DiMarco was always outcasted by his older brothers. Tony is 13 years old, brown hair, chubby, not athletic, and loved to solve mysteries. He has a sense of humor and a very likeable kid. Tony is overweight and doesn’t have a lot of friends,and is always out showed by his older brothers. When his uncle dies and leaves Tony his house, he doesn't really know what to do with himself. Tony is not so happy moving to a new town also living in a old house with a certain room he has to sleep in. as the story goes on he meets boys from different times of history and thinks about all of the exceptional things he has done. He comes to find that he is special in his own way and know doesn’t complain about who he is. This book goes on daring adventure with the history of mystical Boston. It is the only book that will ever be a profound history book with some heart racing adventure. This book is good for young teenager who wants to explore the true meaning of imagination or an adult who wants to cozy up with a book on a cold winter's day. This book is a 5 star book written by a 5 star author. 13 Hangmen by Art Corriveau is a very exceptional book and has changed the readers thought of history and

    All these people imprint so many different ideologies onto Tony and he has no idea what to believe in. On the other hand, Tony feels at home with his peers, Cico and Samuel. Cico, however, has the focus in this book. He explains to Tony the idea of the Golden Carp. Cico regards Tony as an equal and a partner in learning.
