A theater should be built in a town

These days, a substantial number of people believe that a movie theater should not be built in a town to maintain clean environment. However, contrary to this opinion, I strongly believe that a cinema has positive influences on the community. The rationale behind this is that a movie theater enriches the quality of life and improves the economy of the town. First of all, a theater provides local residents with enjoyable leisure activities. An important reason is that a movie theater is full of entertaining events ranging from showing blockbuster movies to promotional fan meetings with movie stars. What is more, a movie theater can be an amusing cultural and social center for family and friends to spend time on weekends. For example, my friend used to live in a town where life was dull and monotonous. However, after a movie theater was built in her town, the local residents could spend an exciting and fun time with family and friends while looking at posters, eating delicious snacks, and sharing one another’s impression and opinions about the movie at nearby restaurants or coffee shops. In this respect, a theater can be a joyful factor for local people. Moreover, a movie theater improves the economic situation of the town. This is largely because a movie theater will attract tens of thousands of movie watchers to a community. As a result, local businesses such as restaurants, snack shops, and souvenir stores will have an increased number of customers. On top of that, a number of jobs related to the stored will be increased. From my experience, the town I lived in suffered from economic recession(침체). Fortunately, a new movie theater revitalized(부흥시키다) the local economy by providing numerous employment opportunities ranging from ticket sellers to parking attendances and bringing more profits to stores near the theater. In addition, several investors bought buildings and started family restaurants and shopping
