To start with, what is education?
Education is the process of learning and acquiring knowledge at school, at home and even an acquaintance. Education is the key that allows people to move up in the world, seek better jobs and succeed in life. The more educated a man is, the more prestige and power that person holds.
As the saying goes, A well educated population represents a well secured a well developed and strong nation. Education is the fourth necessity for a man after food clothing and shelter. It is indeed a powerful tool which alone can combat the cut-throat competition that can is faced with at every juncture of life. For examples let me take m.k.kamarajar. who was not educated in his childhood, he wanted as many children to get education and so he inaugurated many schools in tamilnadu. Another example is dr.rajah sir muthiah chettiyar who with his genius mind and a great vision towards education, inaugurated many schools which are now imparting the torch of education in children.
What can education do ? it is the tool which alone cam inculcate national and cultural values and liberate people of false prejudice, ignorance, and representations. It provides them required knowledge, technique, skill, and information and enables them to know their rights and duties towards their family, their society and towards their motherland at large. It expands their vision and outlook, and capability to fight ignorance, injustice, corruption, violence, disparity and communalism, the greatest hazards to the progress of the nation
