To My Dear And Loving Husband
Anne Bradstreet's poem, "To My Dear and Loving Husband," is a short poem in which she shows her undying love and tenderness toward her husband.
The poem has five stanzas, each stanza was ryhming couplets in the entire poem which are AABBCCDD and EEFF, the end of each word in each line are sharing the same rhythm and tone that gives the poem an arranged ,organized ,and musical structure. Also. it has twelve lines, the beginning word of the fifth line which is “I” we can infer that the poem is written in first person narration. Moreover, the poem is written in a tradishional way and with old language “thee”, “ ye”, and “ doth”.
