A. Executive Summary Colgate-Palmolive is a company based in America operating on an international level. They are known for the production and merchandising of oral, personal, home care, as well as pet nutrition products with a reasonable price-quality relation. Last 2012, the company earned 2.58 dollars per share and is expected to earn 3.09 dollars per share this 2014. Colgate-Palmolive’s oral care products contribute more than 40% of the company’s total value. The company’s priorities for using their cash is to allow uninterrupted dividend payments to shareholders every year. Their global strategy is focused on their local strength The key part of their growth strategy is a strong connection with consumers through the use of traditional media. Aside from that, they aim to succeed with the profession by interacting with professionals all around the globe including dentists, tv personalities, and veterinarians. Moreover, they strive to succeed with retail customers or those who sell their products like owners of supermarket chains. Last but not least, part of their strategy is to strengthen leadership worldwide through means of engaging in volunteer communities and participating in organizations and associations to promote awareness of their products.
