Tips to Become Successfull Teacher
TITLE : TIPS TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL TEACHER
Becoming a teacher requires facing a lot of challenges. A number of training programs are there to help teachers but at last a teacher himself has to do hard work to become successful. Here I am giving some tips to become a great and successful teacher. One of the main indicators of your success is how well you help students learn. Develop relationships with every child to identify the best way to help them grasp concepts and succeed academically. Successful teachers make learning relevant to their students to keep them engaged. Maintain a positive attitude and a sense of humor and be flexible.Treat your students fairly, consistently and with compassion so they can begin to share your love of learning.

First of all to become a good teacher, you need to be prepared and organized. If you will organize your lessons in advance, you will find it easy to convey it to your students. At the same time, students will find their lesson interesting and easy. A disorganized lecture given by a teacher is recognized at once by students and they respond to it in form of losing interest. Next tips is use variety skill of teaching. A good teacher always uses a number of ways and modes to convey what he wants to teach. Some common modes of teaching may include making a group of students. A teacher can use other ways to create interest as well. For example, different books, dance and even music can be used as a mode of teaching.
To become a successful teacher, you will need to be patient. Being a teacher, you may have to face criticism by parents and other teachers as well. In this case, you will require being positive towards criticism. Take it as an opportunity to make adjustments and betterments instead of taking it as a personal attack. Teacher should also accept praise and admiration graciously. Besides that, classroom management also very important to become a successful teacher . A chaotic classroom full of students who disrespect and disobey the teacher is not a place where learning can take place. Teachers who fail to manage their classrooms will have a hard time experiencing success. You must clearly outline the rules of the classroom and the consequences for breaking those rules. Then you must enforce the rules consistently and fairly. You must also have high expectations for your students. When they know what is expected of them and know you want them to succeed, they are more likely to perform according to those standards.

Next tips is caring, as a teacher you should show your students that you care about them. Only go through the motions and your students are certain to do the same. Showing you care may mean listening to student concerns, offering a compliment, flashing a smile or even a supporting hand on the shoulder. This creates a comfortable environment where students will ultimately feel more comfortable expressing themselves and learning new concepts. Parents also need to understand the level of concern you have for their children as this will propel them to encourage their child. You can do this by listening to their problems, offering a compliment, passing a smile or patting them on shoulders. This attitude of yours will create a comfortable and friendly environment and students will become more expressive. They will ask questions with confident and hence will learn new things. Attitude of care and love should also be used with parents of students as well.

Furthermore, as a teacher you should know to usea good sence of humour. Sometimes classroom becomes a place of tension and anxiety especially when you teach a rigid subject. To handle such classroom situation, use a good sense of humor. Laughing or smiling occasionally decrease distress and anxiety among students. Also encourage your students to join you in this. But make sure that all this should be within discipline and integrity of a classroom.

One of the best ways to experience success as a teacher is to learn from other successful teachers. Connect with veteran teachers in your own school or district. Ask them for advice when you have a problem, or just vent when you feel frustrated. Attend conferences to find other teachers who teach the same grade level or subject as you. Compare experiences with them, use them to get new ideas for your classroom or to find support during difficult situations. Having people who have faced the same issues as you can help you work through problems instead of letting them hinder your success in the classroom.

Lastly, Punctuality. Punctuality may not be one of your strong suits. However, tardiness will count against you once you start teaching. Each school has a set time in which the school day starts and ends. There are times when you will need to meet with students, parents, or even your principal before school starts. So, be on time. It is also a good rule .You don't have to stay late.

As a conclusion, a good teacher never gives up. A successful teacher always encourages his students to overcome difficulties and obstacles. Being a teacher, if you will give up, your students will also find failure as the last option. You should remain positive to show every student that you are confident to do anything. As a result, your students will adopt the same attitude. Their behavioral problems will reduce and entire class will work collectively to attain goals set by you. In my opinion, teaching can be challenging, exhilarating, stressful and rewarding all at once. It is a profession that requires continued growth, open-mindedness and flexibility. Following these steps will help you on your way to becoming a successful teacher. (961 words)

    * The first characteristic necessary in being the ideal teacher is being involved. Teachers will become like second parents to many students in their career, so being involved is crucial. When you think of a teacher, many assume the only thing they can be involved in is standing in front of a classroom and giving homework, this is certainly not the case. For instance, teachers know they may be faced with a student who is having a hard time at home, such as being abused and in many cases have no-one else to turn to. The ideal teacher makes it a point to get involved so that any student feels confident enough that they can talk to their teacher. When I was in school I hit the age that I thought I knew everything and was getting into trouble, I look back now and thank god that I had some outstanding teachers who helped me through.…

A teacher, in order to be a good teacher should have many qualities that other do not have. To begin with, a good teacher should provide students with clear goals and tasks from the beginning of the school lessons and encourage them if he/she notices that the students are of target. Secondly, a good teacher ought to give students feedback to their work so they improve. Thirdly, she should treat all students the same and in a respectful way and answer to all questions made despite being silly or cleaver. Furthermore, a good teacher should understand that all students do not learn the same way and as easily. She should adjust the lesson in a way that the higher level students do not get bored and the less good ones to keep track on what is happening. At last, a good teacher should use breaks and outdoor activities such as having the lesson in the school garden. In this way the students will get more interesting in the lesson, learn more things and have a good time too.…

Teaching is one of the hardest jobs found today. It demands broad knowledge of subject matter, curriculum, and standards; Enthusiasm, a caring attitude, and a love of learning; Knowledge of discipline and classroom management techniques; and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. With all these qualities required, it's no wonder that it’s hard to find great teachers in today’s society. Teachers, just like the rest of us, live their own lives in which they face day-to-day challenges of their own. This being said, it is also very important for a teacher to put aside those challenges when they enter a classroom. A good teacher should always be focused on the needs of each learner, provide them with the best education, as well as be a good role model for each and every student.…

First of all, a teacher must know his profession thoroughly. He must know his subject beyond the point he intends to teach. He needs to be an expert. For example, if he is teaching literature, he should know all the plays of Shakespeare - or at least most of them, rather than just the play he is teaching. He can then make cross references and answer all the questions that arise in the minds of his students. Knowing his subject is of no use if he does not know how, or not bother to, to teach it most effectively to his students. Though it is true that in a secondary school, student should take the responsibility for their own learning, it would be dull and boring to learn from a teacher who does not present his subject in an interesting manner.…
