Tim Roth a great British actor/director. Roth started his career years ago as a young British actor and is now starring in his own show, Lie to me as Dr. Cal Lightman. Roth has starred in several movies throughout his career and enjoys what he does.
Roth was born in Dulwich, London May 14, 1961. Roth is the son of Ann and Ernie, Ann his mother was a painter and teacher. He has one sibling a sister named Jill who later on became a journalist too like her parents. His father Ernie was a painter, journalist, and until 1970 a member of British community party. He try to joke his way out it to help with the pain, hye took on others accents, he’d hide out in the art room, run the streets, he had learned to disappear. Roth played in several movies such as the Incredible Hulk (2008), The new youth (2007), The Last signal (2005), Silver city (2004), Invincible (2001), The Hotel of million dollars (2000), The imposter (1997) , and many more. Roth and other young British actors such as Bruce Payne, Gary Oldman, Colon Firth, and Paul McGann were dubbed the brit pack a nickname off the Brat Pack in the U.S. In the series of harry potter, Roth was originally chosen for the role of Severus Snape but turned down for the planet of the Apes job. In 2009 Roth stated the series show Lie to me, as a expert on body language. The show was based off Dr. Paul Ekman, Notable psychologist expert on body language and facial expressions. Roth said coming to America has been extraordinary.
