through education our motherland receives light
THROUGH EDUCATION OUR MOTHERLAND RECEIVES LIGHT

The vital breath of prudent Education
Instills a virtue of enchanting power;
She lifts the motherland to highest station
And endless dazzling glories on her shower.
And as the zephyr's gentle exhalation
Revives the matrix of the fragrant flower,
So education multiplies her gifts of grace;
With prudent hand imparts them to the human race.

For her a mortal-man will gladly part
With all he has; will give his calm repose;
For her are born all science and all art,
That brows of men with laurel fair enclose.
As from the towering mountain's lofty heart
The purest current of the streamlet flows,
So education without stint or measure gives
Security and peace to lands in which she lives.

Where Education reigns on lofty seat
Youth blossoms forth with vigor and agility;
He error subjugates with solid feet,
And is exalted by conceptions of nobility.
She breaks the neck of vice and its deceit;
Black crime turns pale at Her hostility;
The barbarous nations She knows how to tame,
From savages creates heroic fame.

And as the spring doth sustenance bestow
On all the plants, on bushes in the mead,
Its placid plenty goes to overflow
And endlessly with lavish love to feed
The banks by which it wanders, gliding slow,
Supplying beauteous nature's every need;
So he who prudent Education doth procure
The towering heights of honor will secure.

From out his lips the water, crystal pure,
Of perfect virtue shall not cease to go.
With careful doctrines of his faith made sure,
The powers of evil he will overthrow,
Like foaming waves that never long endure,
But perish on the shore at every blow;
And from his good example other men shall learn
Their upward steps toward the heavenly paths to turn.

Within the breast of wretched humankind
She lights the living flame of goodness bright;
The hands of fiercest criminal doth bind;
And in those breasts will surely pour delight
Which seek her mystic

    America’s education is manipulated in a way so that the government itself will protect itself from the truth. The truth is, is that students learn American history as that America comes off as the comrade, the one who desires to help the ones suffering. Students learn that America is never the one to initiate the problem. It is always a country who inaugurates another country. As children learn they grow to know that America is always there to save the situation by joining and aiding the weaker party of the war or dispute. In World War II America joins after an attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Before America joined Nazi Germany had attacked Poland in 1939. Education is something that affects all of us as a whole gender, race, and poverty plays a role in education. As a citizen of the United States of America it is important for us to appreciate a good education that some of us take for granite. Gender is crucial in how people view education in the text:” Philippine Women’s College corrects gender miseducation”. Professors and education enthusiast are breaking down the barriers and bias that is associated with gender. Text books in the Philippines show women playing the “stay at home” role and the father portraying the “ bread winner” role this a form a of bias. Scholars at the Miriam College are working to correct this matter by teaching all female students about stereotypes relating to gender. Students often are shown at a young age to approach matters in a biased free manner, through this approach both male and female can share duties in the household that were once delegated to one based on gender. Trained teachers are able to spot the gender difference and compensate with materials that are fair for all. Miriam College and its faculty also discuss sexual harassment and a list of other things as well. What was happening in the”Women’s Movement “and what was being taught in the classroom were two totally different things. In 1986 Corazon Aquino became the first female president of the Philippines this was in stark contrast of what was being taught. As far as equality for women the Philippines are ranked ninth in the world, with that being said advocates of gender feel that it is best suited to teach and educate when the students are young. Patricia Licuanan president of Miriam College implemented in 2001 gender courses to the curriculum that focuses on equality and quality education for women. Also in 2001 several colleges in the Philippines have shown interest in providing studies for women as well. Due to the work that has been taken place in the Philippines young women…

    Advertisements are one of the most influential aspects of the capitalist society in the United States. Thinking back to their childhood, most Americans can probably recall a favorite commercial or a popular ad campaign for their favorite product. Children are often influenced by toy ads and as a result they influence their parents to buy the things they want. In the 21st century advertisements have become even more prevalent; they appear in the form of pop-ups, commercials, print ads, and even apps on cell phone have advertisements constantly trying to convince consumers to buy the product offered. However, some ads are more successful than others. Why is it that people buy Ragu over Prego? Is it really all in the product? Or does success lie in the advertisements of the Ragu ad campaign? This is the purpose in analyzing advertisements; because they are an immense part of our everyday lives. They compete for our conscious and unconscious needs and desires, with the most effective ads accurately targeting our innermost emotional (or physical) needs.…

    Students/pupils will listen to you much more effectively outside in the world. I may say that I am correct! They are like dog tied to their kennel in a class room. It is almost an act of cruelty to force them to sit all day listening and not by talking. They should be engaged outside the room. The room should be where they drop their bags and come back to discuss what they have learn. That’s really a good idea, learning is not by sitting, and it’s all by experience. Yes, if you’re talking about a flower going out and looking at real ones is much more potent than a picture book or reading about it. The energy changes and they are engaged not switched off. They will listen to you much more effectively outside in the world.…
