Three People To Dinner Research Paper
Dinner is as simple as it gets, yet it’s a great opportunity to get to know people. Three people I would invite to dinner are Daredevil, Coach Bob, and my grandfather. Daredevil is my favorite superhero and he represents the idea of never conceding. Coach Bob is a motivational person who is easy to talk to. My grandfather is funny and always has something interesting to say. Having this dinner would be a great experience and I wish it could actually happen. To begin with, I would invite Daredevil to dinner. Daredevil loves his city and swears that he will do whatever it takes to protect it. Even when the city thinks that he is a villain, he still stays and protects the city. Daredevil believes in justice and that you shouldn’t kill because …show more content…
Bob is a caring and motivational person. He goes to church every Sunday, and he coached my church basketball team. Bob believes that anything is possible in life. He has motivated me to continue working hard at basketball and anything else I do in life. He believes I’m better than I think I am; this motivates me to play better and to be a better person. One season when I was younger, I thought that our team wasn’t good enough to win the playoffs. Before each game, he talked to the team in a way that motivated us to play our best. We ended up coming in second in the playoffs when I didn’t think we could even win one game. Bob would be a great dinner guest because he brings out the greatness in me and I aspire to be like …show more content…
I loved my grandfather and he died when I was in 7th grade. He was a great man who loved his family and completely changed his life with the help of my grandmother. He used to be a hellion when he was younger. He drank a lot and he had anger issues. Once he met my grandmother, she completely changed him and turned him into a caring and loving person. I admire his change and I would ask him questions about how my grandmother completely changed his persona in such a short amount of time. I loved the story’s he used to tell me about how he would steal and lie. These stories are funny and every time I think of them, they brighten up day. I want to invite my grandfather to dinner so he can see how I am getting good grades in high school, going to college to be an accountant, and having a part time job at the hospital. I know that he would be so proud of me and my accomplishments. Having him at dinner with me would mean the world to me. To conclude with, this dinner with these people would be very fun. I would be influenced by Daredevil with his exciting life. I would be motivated by Bob and we could talk about basketball. I would love to talk to my grandfather again so he can see what I have become. All of these people would make for an exciting dinner experience. I would be so thrilled if this could

Childhood memories of dinnertime hold a special place in my heart. What used to be a daily experience of family unity and sharing is unfortunately now reserved for holidays and an occasional Sunday or birthday gathering. Rather than each family member drifting into his or her own individual world as their life grew busier, we always had the interaction during mealtime to strengthen our family bonds and enrich the daily experience of community life. My mother would create a meal consisting of either a pasta, or meat and potato type meal for our family of six. Our evening meal always included a salad, plenty of vegetables, and a basic dessert like brownies, pie, or ice cream. There was never an official dinner time since my dad’s schedule varied. Therefore,…

Now, while everyone is enjoying their appetizers, I will have my cooks start on dinner. They will prepare chicken wings because that's my moms favorite! They will also make cheesy baked macaroni because that's my favorite! Macoroni was also great to have because everybody in my family loves it. I chose baked potatoes because they have starch in them and are pretty healthy. There is also juicy steak on the menu because hey who doesn't like steak? We will also have lasagna because the macaroni will not be enough pasta by itself. We will have potato salad for a side dish because my granny's favorite.…
