Outcasts and rejects are the individuals who are unwilling to conform to others views and ways in life. Conformity is the way an individual change’s their behaviour or belief toward a social norm or group standard because of a group’s influence. In 1958, Harvard psychologist Herbert Kelman identified three broad varieties of social influence. The three types of conformity include Compliance, Internalisation, and Identification.
