They Left Me!

Do you know how it feels to be abandoned by people you love? When you get abandoned you feel empty inside like someone just ripped half of your heart out of you. That’s exactly how I felt felt when my cousins Andres and Isa left me to go to the Red Apple and Rose City. It honestly feels like just yesterday they graduated from eighth grade! When those two left us we were heartbroken. It was really cool to see them exploring the cities they went to but at the same time we miss seeing them here with us at our parties having fun and dancing to ‘Te Quiero A Morir’. We all knew that was Andres’ song. Not that I recall Isa ever had a song that was ‘hers’ but what I do remember is that Isa was the hugger if someone was sad shed cheer you up with a very long hug and I mean very long hug. It was sort of like she was brought into the world to be

When Andres came I didn't tear up till after. They didnt die its just hard to see someone that's always there for you and around you everyday just suddenly leave you. They just mean so much to me they helped me through everything. We even call Isa and Andres when we're at parties because where those types of people.

I remember growing up i'd cry because I wouldn't want them to leave my side. They were like my best friends and it's really hard to see your best friends leave your side after all the fun you've had with them. It's so cool seeing them leave because you know they're doing it so they have a career one day but it's so hard you forget why they have to leave you. I went on my first roller coaster and i was scared to but i did it for Andres and Isa and let me tell you it was very thrilling!!! It's really strange knowing they are becoming adults because it seemed like yesterday they just ended freshmen

In part one of Enrique Journey, what struck me the most about his experiences so far is him being without his mother. I love my mother and I can only imagine not being without her for a long time. Reading part one of this book, I felt sad for Enrique and his oldest sister because they were so sad and emotional about their mother leaving. What surprise me the most about part one was when Enrique’s dad left him for his girlfriend and he didn’t want Erique to go with him. Enrique father was so wrong to me and it was sad that he didn’t give Erique the love he needed. It was also sad to me that Lourdes was a struggling when got to the U.S and it was hard for her to make ends meet. Lourdes knows that Enrique needed her and miss her but she is at…

Esperanza was woken up early in the morning by her dad with news that her abuelito is dead. Her father is traveling to Mexico to the funeral and is leaving Esperanza with the responsibility to stay strong and tell her siblings. I enjoy listening to this song anyways as it is in my native language and one of my top childhood songs. The song is about a couple who is in love with each other but when the guy has to leave for the US, they broke up. He later returns and the love is still there. This is a very cute story and I love singing the lyrics that describes his feelings for her as he was away. If I broke up and get back together with my boyfriend, I would want this to be our scenario, that we broke up and got back together because of distance or circumstances, not because we wanted this. I also love how there are english lyrics sung with deep emotion in the song: “I will be back for you.” The music video for the song is also very heartwarming and brings a smile to my face whenever I think of it. If I got back together with my ex, I could listen to this song to remind me of my feelings for him. This song is a great song that evokes strong emotions from me and makes me think about love and how strong it is to overcome lots.…

Although it is sad that they are losing their life, there is also joy to be found as they are finally fulfilling their destiny even if it mean losing their life. It is similar to sending your children off to college for most parents. They are sending the thing they have poured every ounce of love into from its birth out into the real world. For them it is tragic, but within that tragedy is that same omnipresent sense of pride. That sense of pride is very apparent with April Wheelers story.…

I believe there is a reason why sixty percent of Americans don't vote in some election years. They know it’s rigged and whoever has a chance at getting "elected" was already bought by the big boys (or girls) who run it all. It more like, “we the people” of corporate America for decades. Probably the biggest factor for third-party involvement in elections is to highlight and broaden the political spectrum. As an optimist progressive, I continue to move forward with hope of transparency.…

The sadness that comes with saying goodbye to the friends you have spent your whole life with when moving is never easy. Throughout my education, I have moved schools 3 times and every time it has been a struggle to acclimate socially, mentally and academically. I started at Diegueno Middle School in the middle of the seventh grade. This was now my second school in only the first half of my first year of middle school. Again I had to adapt to new people and a different course load. This school had a much higher standard of academia then my prior school and at first, I struggled. School felt alien to me. Time passed and I made new friends and I got used to the difficulty. I started high school with the same group of friends from middle school…

Society tends to believe that attending to college is something that everyone should do in order to live a successful and prosperous life. After doing research about the benefits of college, read different perspectives and opinions of different authors my view about college has changed. A lot of kids think that in order to get accepted into college you need to have perfect test scores and an exceptional gpa but that’s not true. Angel B. Perez in the article, Want to Get Into College? Learn to Fail, asserts that college admission officers want to get to know the student applying outside of his/her academic history. That means that if you are eager to learn you can get into college and by attending to college you are going to expand your mind, gain more knowledge and be a successful person.…

I would feel justified for stealing for my dire child. Stealing is against my moral beliefs, but under the circumstances I would be left with no other option but to steal. I would put my child before myself, and I would do anything for my child. By this being said, I would put my own reputation and my freedom at risk to help the well being of my child. I would not be able to live with myself if I didn't do anything to help my child. Since my child is very ill I would do anything for them just to keep them alive.
