Leadership is developed through all professional, educational, and personal experience. Professional in many industries are currently advertising leadership and skill building opportunities to devlep there employees as cmoptent and effcitve leadership. Education has a direct correlation in leadership in regard to emergency management in two major facets – leadership attributes to education and expirience. Leaders within emergency management requires learning, but modeling and mentoring(Backnell,2014).This mandates the ongoing development and availability of resources to current and future leaders to manage the ever changing needs of the industry.

Research Aims and Objectives This study will review and critique the thesis statement in relation to emergency management leadership and the attributes obtain through education at various levels. The identification of the avenues through leaders achieve an increases in competency levels and application in fieled through the knowledge and resource obtain in both education institutions and expirience. To establish the goals, there will be an analysis which will include.
1. The analysis of leadership in emergency management and its availbility in many instutions.
2. The analysis of how leadership is implemented in the areas of emergency management entities;
3. An evaluation of the leadership in emergency management in the present state.
