CHAPTER I
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

INTRODUCTION
Everytime there is a Q&A portion in a beauty contest, the question that has been repeatedly asked is “what is the real essence of being a woman?” There are for sure various answers, but receiving the response of “the true essence of woman is motherhood or being a mother” is expected. Adolescents are typically characterized as having zealousness, vigour, and overwhelming curiosity and desire to know their purpose and essence in life. Furthermore seeking for autonomy, freedom and independence from their parent is also notable. Thus their tendency to form a relationship with people other than their parents is markedly uncontrollable. Adolescents think of the need to emerge as an adult and consequently they become eager to hold the responsibility for themselves, and begin to desire for their independence from their parent....
