Theodore Boone Essay

This is the 5th part in a sexology (that’s a six part series) of the Theodore Boone series. The book was written by John Grisham. This book takes place in a fictional town called Strattenburg, Virginia. The main characters are Theodore Boone, a 13 year old looking to be a lawyer so he knows a lot about the law. Then we have Ike Theo’s uncle, who likes to know all the gossip he can and likes to win as much money as he can. Mr. and Mrs. Boone a couple who are both lawyers and agree on everything except for laws and policies. Pete Duffy, a fugitive accused of murdering his wife, and finally Bobby, a witness who claims to have saw Pete Duffy kill Myra Duffy Pete’s wife. The main conflict is when Theo sees Pete Duffy (the fugitive) while on the
field trip. After his first day there, he gets on the metro he sees a familiar face. When he recognizes its a man he saw in court accused of murder. He started to take a video and saw Pete starting to get off and he started to get off of the metro even though it wasn't his stop. He tried to tail Pete, but couldn't and lost him and lost himself in the process eventually his group did find him. He got back to the Hotel called Ike and told him. He stayed in D.C. when he got home in Strattenburg he told his parents and called the FBI. They searched in D.C. for days but found nothing. When he was in the airport he saw the same familiar face he saw on the metro, the man got on the airplane and Theo told the FBI they searched the airplane and Theo began to worry, was he wasting everyones time but he kept wondering if he saw the right man John Grisham has written many books for all age groups. He is a best selling author and has won so many awards including the Helmerich Award. He was also a former attorney which is why he has a lot of law and justice in his books.
