Introduction: God gave us two gifts, life and love. God has given us the ultimate gift of love, by sacrificing his only son to give us eternal life. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." God has endless love for us, even though we are sinners by nature, his love is never ending and never changes. John 4:8 says “God is love,” people have different views on what love means to them, but the true meaning of love is what God gives us.

Our love for others is usually based on how they treat us, and what they do for us. Even though we could do nothing for God, He still loved us with no doubt. God has created in us feelings, and a heart. In the book Praxis, they say that giving your heart to Jesus is like jumping into the lap of a parent and looking to them for guidance. When you give God your heart, you are trusting Him with your life, emotions, feelings, and you are trusting Him to guide your life in the right direction. In my life, I try to love the people around me the best way I can because I know I would want the same from them. I try to take what I learn from God’s Word and what He says about love and how we should use it and use it in my life to the best of my ability. Knowing that God has endless love for me, and how He says we should love our neighbor’s as we love ourselves is a constant reminder for me to be kind to others, and give them love and help whenever they need …show more content…
John 8:12 says, When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." If you believe in God, and follow what His plans are for you, He will only give you things to help you and make you prosperous, never things to harm you. John 14:6 says “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to my Father, except through me.” Basically, if you want to have eternal life there is no other way to do so unless you have faith in God, and believe His Word. If a man does not believe in God, and doesn’t follow in His ways, he makes up his own rules, his own ideas of how life should be lived and sets up his own failures. The main reason we were created was to fellowship with God, and worship Him. When man doesn’t have a relationship with God, he feels an emptiness and is dissatisfied. He can not be truly content with his life unless he has the Holy Spirit working in him. To be saved by God, you have to accept that God is who He says He is and accept Him as your savior, then you have to repent and confess your sins to God. God is very forgiving, and He says if you confess all your sins to Him he will forgive you. After you do all that, you are born again, and have started your relationship with God. In the book Praxis they say that “The new life God brings about is truly an amazing act of His graciousness and

Love is a simple phrase that has existed throughout human history. Since the beginning of time, we have been taught to love one another through works of kindness and compassion. Despite this, we as a greedy, shallow culture tend to resort to conflict to solve our issues. From wars to segregation, humans have fought numerous battles in the name of a better world, yet, all they have accomplished is insurmountable conflict. Although this epidemic floods our history, there are times where the tenderness of people has broken through and achieved substantial gains for the world populous. To name a few: Jesus was crucified as a perfect, loving lamb in order to cleanse the grime of sin, Martin Luther King Jr. was praised for rooting his arguments in…

Having a personal relationship with God begins the moment we realize our need for him, admit we are sinners, and in faith we receive Jesus Christ as our savior. Our relationship to God is like the loving relationship between a child and parent. Like children, some of us return God’s abundant mercy and some reject him. Nevertheless, he sheds his consecrated blessings upon us. God’s gifts of benevolence and redemption are offered to all without a price; even to those who chose the path of malign. Having a personal relationship with God means we should include him in our daily lives. Love is the greatest gift that the almighty gives us. St. Paul declares that love in Christ is the greatest offering of all spiritual gifts. Most Christians believe that the greatest commandment is "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength”: in addition to the second, "thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself". Faith is worthless without compassion.…

Love usually means unselfishly sacrifice one’s interest for the best of others. Sometimes it is even life. “Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God, and knows God. He who does love, does not know God, for God is love. We love because he first loved us.” (New International Version, 1Jn.4:7-9:19). Christians believe that Jesus die for human’s sin because he loves people. And “Christ is…

Love is an incredibly powerful word. But what exactly is love? According to Webster, Love is “strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties” or “warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion.” But is something so overwhelming really as simple as these definitions make it appear to be? No, love is an extremely complex word that can’t be summed up into a few short sentences. Though love isn’t effortless, “true” love is gained by practicing numerous virtues that include trust, commitment, and compromise.…

To love another person doesn’t really mean to see the face of God. You have to feel all the love and blessings of God. Living the life of God, with his words and doing things that we know is right is living the path of life loving any other person regardless of what she or he is living with the love of God with no conditions, no barriers that can stop him/her, only with just plain love of God . Accepting other person, understanding them is the way of showing love to them. Helping them in times of trouble, giving them advice for goodness in life and supporting them on the things that they want to do are few thing we can do to show them our concern and love for them. We should not wait for them to return favor for what we did for them, because like God who love and help us, he didn’t ask anything in return for what he did for each one of us and never get tired of doing those things, so should just be thankful for what we did. That is God’s will for us. There are times we need to sacrifice for the sake of others. Those sacrifices are just tools for them to have happiness they deserve. But should not be lonely because we sacrifice it, God has always plans for our life. We don’t that he might have more plans for our life. Also we don’t know what will happen in our lives, but we should not just wait until something comes in our way. We should be the one to start our lives with God in our side for us to reach success Sharing happiness that you receive with all other people you want to share is showing them your love for them. Someday all of our sacrifice and all that we share with others will return to us but we don’t know when. Only God knows. We should not be disturbed by the ups and downs of life. It is part of life were our courage, strength and faith in God were tested for us to be more ready to face all the coming trials for us. It is part of the path we all have to take to learn more things about life, on how we…

    Four Spiritual Laws

The first law states that, God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. God will love you in spite of your imperfections. God created you in His own image and likeness. His love for you is unconditional that is why His love is so perfect that no man can ever compare His love to the love that that man experienced toward his partner. Since you are God’s creation and His son or daughter, you are important to Him and He is your valentine. For you to be able to show love, you have to give love also. If you love, you give. In John 3:16, it stated there that God gave His only son because of His unconditional love to the world and that whoever believes in his only son will have an everlasting life. In Jeremiah 29:11, it states that God does not plan bad things for you, that bad things happen because of the decisions that you make and the decisions of others as well. Therefore, you should not blame God if you are experiencing difficulties in life because God already has plans for you and He is just waiting for the right time or moment for everything to happen. It is the demon who gives bad things and removes your happiness. Life is not always pain nor sorrow, happiness nor contentment. Life is a mixture of joy and sorrow. You can never say that your life is abundant because when you say such, you already experienced an everlasting life. It is either you are lacking, just enough or more than enough when it comes to your life. For God said that the world is not your permanent home, it is not a perfect place for you.…

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:16-17. This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible in the book of John. I feel that I am loved by the King even no one else does. Even if others do not love me for who I am, I know and I feel that I am loved by my God. Jesus loves us so much, we should love Him more than anything else, with all our hearts and with all our soul and with our entire mind, because He died to save us from our sins.
