Theme Of To Stand Up For To Kill A Mockingbird
In To Kill A Mockingbird a theme to learn about is to stand up for what you believe in, just like Atticus standing up for Tom Robinson. Standing up for what you believe in goes throughout your life. You’re gonna have a chance to say what you think and back it up the best you can.

For example, Scout is stayed home when Atticus goes to court for Tom Robinson with Aunt Alexandra and Jem. While Atticus is away Alexandra was trying to get Atticus to persuade scout into becoming a real woman. However Scout doesn’t want to change and stay who she is, so she stands up for what she thinks and doesn’t do what her Aunt wants her to do.

Another situation this happens in is when Atticus is the lawyer for Tom Robinson when he was accused of “Rape.”
