Theme Of Maximum Ride By James Patterson
The theme is the hidden meaning behind a story. Usually, the theme is not stated in the book, and it’s up to the reader to determine the context. The theme (or central idea) of Maximum Ride by James Patterson is love and courage. A good example of these themes is on page 33. The text says “‘That's where they took Angel,’ I said. ‘And that's where we have to get her back.’” This statement is supremely significant to the plot and the theme of this book. The flock knows that it is dangerous to get Angel back from the Erasers, but even so, they try and get her back because they love her. Another piece of evidence for this theme is on page 211. “‘Yeah me too,’ said The Gasman. ‘I don’t care if we have our house, or a cliff edge, or a cardboard box.
