The Zombies Film Analysis
A hopeful actress gets her first break in a zombie film, but then real life zombies trapped the cast and crew on the set and they have to battle to survive.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS:

CURTIS (40’s) is a desperate movie director who needs his new zombie film to succeed. When his current actress is not working out, he decides to find a new actress. VANESSA (20’s) is a hopeful, budding actress, working as a waitress. She’s star struck when she meets Curtis and the lead actor, MARK (20’s). When Vanessa realizes she has something in her teeth, she lets out a blood-curdling scream, scaring Mark and Curtis. Curtis knows he’s found his new actress.

At a lab, TRUMAN (30’s), a scientist and his partner, WALT (30’s), work on a new formula for fake movie blood

Zombie 5 interrupts them. Zombie 5 begins to cough. He lunges at Mark. Vanessa screams for help. Mitch realizes that the fake blood might have something to do with turning people into zombies. Suddenly Zombie Dennis lunges at the Detective. Vanessa knocks the Zombie’s head off with a C Stand.

The detective discovers they are all in quarantine and they can’t leave the studio. They search Mark’s trailer, but find no one, but blood. The detective checks the bathroom and finds Zombie 5. He shoots him.

Attacks continue and the Detective is mutilated, but he’s still alive. He gives Vanessa his gun and begs her to shoot him. She can’t do it, but Mitch can. He shoots the detective in the head. When Vanessa is attacked, Mitch saves her life. Mitch and Vanessa grow closer.

When the survivors try to leave the studio, they discover that they are in a restricted quarantine zone. If they try to leave they will be terminated. The CAPTAIN has all the exits

    She nonchalantly mentions that the people outside her house were “bitey” and that her husband has been bit. Shaun allows his stepfather to escape with them knowing that he will soon turn into a zombie. They pick up Liz and her roommates who were not particularly happy about Shaun’s plan. While on their way to Winchesters, Shaun and his father have a heart to heart just before he dies. Once Shaun notices his step father’s cloudy eyes, he makes everyone get out of the car and leave on foot. Once they reach the pub, they realize it is surrounded so they decide to act like zombies to get through the crown unnoticed. Their plan would have been successful if Ed would not have answered his cell phone. This infuriates Shaun, who finally snaps on Ed, drawing more attention to them by the surrounding man eating zombies. This is a pivotal moment in the movie for Shaun in whom he realizes that Ed is holding him back and decides to become the hero.
