The World's Fair Research Paper

The practice of collecting stamps is a pastime that has baffled psychologists and historians for centuries. Although this may be true, it remains one of the popular ways in which ordinary people spend their leisure and recreational activities. In fact, there are tens of millions of collectors in the North America and certainly hundreds of million collections globally. The decade stamps of Jesse Owens were to honored the five gold Olympians at 1936 Olympic in Berlin, Germany. In fact, this fits my definition of leisure because I spend a lot of time outdoors on the track and field exercising to stay fit and healthy. In addition, superman the legendary Man of Steel was one of my favorite characters on TV. The family and I would spend our pastimes watching television and being entertained with superman saving the day. The marvels and heroes’ characters of fact and fiction, portrayed a time in American history when Americans worked together to overcome challenges and hope for better days ahead.
They taught and educated the people regarding a future beyond imagination through technology advances and succeeded to new levels of ingenuity never seen on planet earth. Furthermore, it offered students and patrons the opportunity to learn firsthand about the wonders of leisure activities and limitless educational opportunities to take a glimpse into the possibilities of the future. In short, the World’s Fair was a pastime that brought many different cultures together to learn and educate themselves regarding the latest technology and innovation that had unlimited possibilities. There are various forms of leisure activities available at the Fair such as cultural arts (music, fine arts), hobbies (collecting, reading), social recreation (clubs eating events, visiting) which provided fun, entertainment and enjoyable experience for future generations to participate
