The Westing Game: Comparing The Book And The Movie
Mysteries are a genre many people enjoy. The Westing Game is a well-written mystery novel and movie many people of all ages would enjoy. GLMS sixth grade students read the novel and then watched the movie. The Westing Game book and movie contains many similarities and differences that are worth explaining. The Westing Game is about a young girl (Turtle Wexler) and heirs trying to find who killed Uncle Sam (Sam Westing). In the novel and movie Turtle, the main character, wins and who finds the fourth. A few of the characters that are in the book aren't in the movie. In the book Chris and Turtle aren't partners, Even though The Westing Game includes differences there are some similarities too.     However, there are many differences as well as similarities between the text and the film. In the book two children pick a fight with Ender: a bully named Stilson and a school rival named Bonzo subsequently both end up dead.
