Most of us do not realize how much we take for granted, but there are some out there who feel as I do when it comes to strengthening the Endangered Species Act. This law is essential to present and future generations, although we may not realize it. Humankind is lucky to live in such a variety of ecosystems, but unfortunately, we all happen to leave some type of mark on the Earth and share in the destruction of many species, as well as their habitats. Timber companies cut down thousands of acres of natural forests for the wood and to make room for more many different uses of the land, such as agriculture or city expansion. Because of this many species have become endangered, or close to extinction from our hands. It is up to us to do what we can to stop the damage and to reverse what impacts we can. The purpose of this comparison essay is to establish points on both sides of this controversial issue, along with the support of professional opinions on of this issue from each viewpoint.…

By letting people know what an endangered species is, and what their habitat currently looks like, they can help restore many of the species to their previous numbers before they became endangered. Most species that are endangered are found in small or unusual habitats. However, species that are dispersed over a larger area, or over more regions survive and thrive better especially through natural disasters, for example. Some of the main goals of the World Wildlife Fund by the year 2020 are to get people from all walks of life and in all kinds of jobs to help protect animals along with their ecosystems as much as possible. Also by strengthening local community efforts in conserving their community and its surrounding area, the World Wildlife Fund hopes to help the efforts of the fifteen most important regions as mentioned above. Another way to help those endangered species is to let markets know about the numerous effects that they have on animal endangerment by producing and selling commodities. So now that I have explained everything about what the World Wildlife Fund actually is, some endangered species, and how you and/or anyone else can help out, we are calling on you to do something about the declining diversity in the animal…

Endangerment is a extensive issue, one that involves the habitats and environments where species live and work together with one another. Although some actions are being taken to assist specific cases of endangerment, the universal dilemma cannot be solved until humans protect the natural environments where endangered species dwell. Back in the fall of 1973 Congress passed the Endangered Species Act, the point of which was to recognize the plants and animals in the most danger and come up with plans for saving them. The effort has almost certainly been as controversial as it has been successful (Institute of Advanced Studies 39). Of the more than 1,400 species designated as endangered, only 18 have recovered to the point where they've been taken off the list. Upon signing the…
