The Unexpected
It was December 18th 2007 and I was in the park with a bunch of my friends. We played some football in the snow and had a good time. We were walking on top of a big hill and we weren’t paying much attention to our surroundings. I started to talk to Justin and the next thing I knew I was on my back going down an ice hill. The whole time I was thinking, why was it taking so long. Then I thought to myself if its taking this long for me then there must be a lot more people in the hospital who have it a lot worse off than me. When they finally took me into the x-ray room, the nurse had me lay on the bed and position my leg. I was in so much pain, it felt like there were a thousand needles being stabbed into my leg. When the nurse finally came back with the results she told me I broke my tibia and fibula. I was really bummed because...
