The Ultimate Driving Machine
The Ultimate Driving Machine
Since its foundation in 1916 BMW has been renowned for their outstanding performance and luxury vehicles. The car featured in this advertisement is the all-new BMW M3 sedan, a performance modified sedan modeled after BMW’s regular 3 series. Two variations of the M3 are offered, coupe or sedan. This advertisement focuses on the sedan, and the primary goal is to present BMW’s vision of what a sedan should be.
Large, roomy, slow, dull, and family. These are all words that come to mind when hearing the word “sedan”. In this advertisement BMW is trying to redefine our interpretation of what a sedan should be. By just looking at the M3 one can tell that there is something strange about this sedan. The large alloy wheels and dual exhaust scream performance coupe, rather than four-door sedan. I like the photo BMW chose for this ad also, it comes off subtle, almost like as if it has nothing to prove, in classic BMW fashion.
The BMW M3 is a car all about numbers as BMW makes crystal clear in this advertisement. Some argue that power isn’t everything and when it comes to the M3 they may be right. The M3 has a 4.0 liter V-8 that produces a thunderous 414 horsepower, however, all that horsepower is useless without the proper power-to-weight ratio which BMW’s M Division has perfected. Furthermore, all that horsepower means the M3 sedan can boom to sixty in just 4.8 seconds which is quicker than most muscle cars. They stress in the advertisement that this power-to-weight ratio makes the M3 sedan handle much like the M3 coupe.
On paper, the M3 sounds almost too good to be true, a hardcore performance four door sedan with 414 horsepower and a zero to sixty time of 4.8 seconds but when driven normally is luxurious and comfortable. In other words this is a perfect car for a family man who has a light but wants to keep it under his

BMW keeps the outside outline of the 7-Series surprisingly clean, and it expands on the exemplary game car extents that the brand has restored with the present 3-Series and 5-Series models. Pretty much as we've found in BMW's as of late recharged utility vehicles, there's a bigger, taller form of the brand's twin-kidney grille—a supposed Active Kidney Grille that oversees wind stream for effectiveness—while a wonderfully etched beltline wrinkle ascends from the hood and proceeds, in inconspicuous design, the distance to the back lights and a chrome accent bar over the back. An etched bit of brightwork begins behind the front wheelwells, where it consolidates an air breather, and proceeds with the lower side of the vehicle, taking visual weight out of the auto's profile.…

All of BMW’s resources, all of our investments and all of their talent are focused on providing the world market with 550000 automobiles, each the best in its class. The BMW films idea was creative. There are many companies that tried to promote their product by forming a short film but did not succeed because of their way of endorsing it. On one of the short films that I was watching, “Hostage!” ( John Woo with Clive Owen & Kathryn Morris/BMW) I noticed that the films don’t feel like a commercial, they present it in a way that the customer or whoever is watching the film will feel connected to the car. For example, as I was watching it I felt like it was a real movie but at the same time I learned how the…

When Infiniti brought out the G35 sport sedan and sport coupe four years ago; it was easy to see who the company was going after. With its powerful six-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive and finely balanced, sport-tuned chassis, the G35 didn't gingerly dip its toe into the entry-level luxury sport sedan/coupe waters. Rather, it took a flying leap, did a cannonball and splashed cold water all over the BMW 3 Series.…
