The program also has a mission to help these students with the preparation and completion of college education. This program has two offices located within ECC; building B, room B115, and in building K, room K102. An interview with a faculty for the Trio program was arranged Steve Aguilar, the interviewee who answered the interview questions for the Trio program. During the interview Steve Aguilar’s comments that he helps manage the Trio program and help students with college, He also mentions that in order to enroll in the Trio program you must be a first generation student, come from a limited income household, have a learning or physical disability. Aguilar comments how Trio offers more than just help with FAFSA, some of TRiO’s services provides career and academic planning, scholarships, assistance with transferring and college application processes, visitation to 4-year college institutions, social activities, development in leadership, referral to college and community support services, assistance for ESL students enrolled in mainstream college classes.
