His mother cautions him of how the fox will attempt to deceive them, to aim to get them to let him inside. Describing how the fox will undoubtedly carry them off to his den, Blacky’s mother strives to advise them that the fox will desire to devour them. After a while on the island under Ralph’s rule, the boys get tired of working all day long and decide to join Jack’s tribe. Jack has a contrasting view of life on the island and his tribe just hunts and feasts. They do not even have shelters. Ralph and Piggy are the last to switch over to Jack’s tribe and when they do, all of the boys start chanting the hunting song they made up. “The beast struggled forward, broke the ring and fell over the steep edge of the rock to the sand by the water. At once the crowd surged after it, poured down the rock, leapt on to the beast, screamed, struck, bit, tore” (Goulding 213). After the boys killed Simon, Ralph realized what he did was wrong and he left Jack’s tribe. This shows that bad people can get good people to do evil things, but the person will always be good at heart.…

The three character traits show that the third little pig is the most admirable. Hard-working, clever, and ambitious are the three character traits of the third little pig. The third little pig was hard-working because he used the bricks given to him by the man to build his house, preventing the wolf from destroying his house like he did to the other two pigs. The third little pig was ambitious because he got out of sight of the wolf in time to or else he would’ve been caught. The third little pig was clever because he was able to open the pot of boiling water, causing the wolf to fall in and be eaten. This story goes to show that even if you are weak or are the underdog, you could still outsmart the opponent using your…

The story started with a revolution on the farm when the animals took over under the leadership of the pig Napoleon. Another pig, named Squealer, became the propaganda pig. He is very important as Napoleon without him cannot cope. Squealer is “a brilliant talker, and when he was arguing some difficult point he had a way of skipping from side to side and whisking his tail which was somehow very persuasive. The others said of Squealer that he could turn black into white”. He uses doublespeak which means that his speech is full of lies and manipulation.
