The Story Of Stuff The idea of where all your materialistic products go are clearly undefined to most people in our society. Materials such as iPod's , diapers, and chemical products people in our society tend to buy for household and personal needs go from extraction , production , distribution, consumption and finally disposal. This system is called the materials economy and in fact people don't raise awareness about where these materials are made or even where they come from which is exactly why this linear system is in a state of crisis in the world we live in.We live on a finite world and this is generally because our system has limitations. The society , the culture , the people and the environment cause these limitations whether that is a positive or a negative effect.People who live in this world have the most important part of this system .
Government officials, who represent the people regulate the visions of what most people are supposed to say and feel but the corporations regulate over them causing our government to accommodate for the corporations needs. The negative result for extraction is that we are exploiting and depleting our natural resources way too quickly , another outlook is that our society takes from third world countries depleting their natural resources as well which causes a declining rate of killing the world we live in .The second result is production. The toxic mechanical or chemical products that are produced ultimately causing the air we breathe in and ourselves to be exposed to this type of toxic or chemical waste.One example of this would be human breast milk, it has the most toxic pollutants in its production and ...
