In order to create a successful principal and teacher relationship it’s important to begin with the end in mind. The start of a successful principal and teacher relationship begins with ones expectations. Working together is so important. Great relationships are founded on good communication and trust.(Excerpt from Dr. Stephen).
Mutual trust and chemistry between Principal and teacher is very important. Principal’s visited to the class to help the teacher. In order to make the class efforts be made, and not to catch the mistakes rather help the teacher in area of improvement. If Principal has a better idea in substance or method of instruction, can add then and there in a way that it is being added to whatever teacher is teaching.
Principal's word may not be taken as an order instead an advice. Its role is not to order rather its role is working together and planning to develop of child's performance both principal and teacher need to think about the productivity and conductivity of the school
In a positive way, allowing teachers to know that they have a voice in the system of the school is like an open relationship that the principal can give. It is also important that the instructional leader makes the teachers feel as if the leader is a friend and not a foe. As leaders when we operate out of understanding and compassion the sky is the limit for student achievement which is the heart of education.
. The principal and teachers should come together to create goals and share ideas. When the principals and teachers are working together and they have high expectations for the student great things can be accomplished if the focus is the child.
Remember, that when there is a positive relationship between the principal and the teacher and if their interest is regarding each student’s success the whole school is benefited. When the principals and teachers are working together and they have high expectations for the student great things can be accomplished.
