Imagine living in a 16 ft. 7 in. house with eight people! During the 1940’s the Franks were in hiding from the Nazis. The living conditions were not always the best. But Anne Frank does say that the conditions were “Ideal”. (Stitching)
The Annex was located on 263 Prinsengracht rd. The Annex was hidden behind a bookcase above a warehouse where Anne’s father used to work before they went into hiding. Because of the constant fear of discovery, at times the people of the Annex couldn’t even move or make any noise. The only time that Anne's father would allow the Franks to talk was at night. If they were heard during the day they could be sent to brutal camps or even worse, death! Anne’s Father said that they couldn’t even
