The Roller Coaster-Personal Narrative
I took deep breaths and tried to relax my muscles but the more I tried the more I tried the more I tensed up. How could I not be scared? I mean, after all in just a few minutes I would be doing something that some dare not to do, well, actually for me it's not that crazy, but I was still so scared. If you haven't found out the thing I am talking about, the thing I am stressing about is a rollercoaster. But not just any rollercoaster, a seven-looping, twisting turning roller coaster. It is called Bizarro. I had been on just about all the other roller coasters at the park, but not bizarro! It scared me too much! I was at the park with my two friends, Shayne and Kyleigh. “Come on guys, it really isn’t that scary!” Shayne called out. “Easy …show more content…
But I was so busy worrying I didn’t even realize. All of a sudden I started to feel queasy, and it felt like my stomach was doing seven loops! But when I looked over at Kyleigh, I had never seen a more petrified, worried person in my life! Her hands shaking she managed to say, “Can we please, please, please, go on a different ride!” Just then we had just made our way to first online, “Ky, we have been waiting in line for like a half hour, we can't go back now!” Shayne replied to her. I was on Kyleigh's side, scared and all, but after all, we had been waiting in line for what seemed like an hour so I wasn't turning back. I looked over and saw a cart rush into the station like a mad bull charging at a scrawny old man, and before I knew it our gate bars flung open immediately and I felt like it wanted to say to me, “Ready for this scary ride that will traumatize you forever?”. “Oh boy, here we go!” I said in horror. The worker buckled us into the seats and before I or Kyleigh could have second thoughts we were off! It felt like a spaceship that had me in it, blasting off to a new world, but that idea died as soon as we whipped into our first

Climbing into the lime green car, my fear was over taking me. I was getting ready to ride the Titan, an adrenaline pumping roller coaster ride at Six Flags. It was easily the scariest ride at the park, in my opinion, with its enormous peaks, its deep descents, and double helix like turns was enough to make me sick. The ride began. Ascending up in the car on the canary yellow track, into the humidity filled, bright sky, the people observing from below resembled little army ants . The aerial view of Dallas was breathtaking, as I reached the peak of the ride and looked around. Passengers occupying the cars in front of me started falling off, like a cliff. I let out a high-pitched shrill, as we plummeted toward the Earth below. Traveling…

The Fury, the fastest, longest, and tallest rollercoaster on the East Coast. With a top speed of 95 mph and a height of 325 feet makes it the biggest rollercoaster I had ever gotten on, beating the Intimidator 305 by 25 feet. I remember seeing on television and wanting to ride it really badly. It just looked so amazing and since I love rollercoasters and love riding rollercoasters, I knew it was something I had to do. I had ridden lots of rollercoasters before this one such as the Intimidator 305 and the Top Thrill Dragster, which I had enjoyed riding very much, and I figured that the Fury would be just as good. So I asked my parents of we could go to the Carrowinds to ride the Fury. They said yes and we went with my aunt to the Carrowinds.…

As I walked closer to the entrance, my heart began pounding harder and harder. I could feel the sweat in my hands, as the time closer. Walking into the first room, I was grabbing my dad’s hand. I could feel my hands sweating almost like Niagara Falls. I tried to keep my eyes closed, but it would just make it worst. I slowly began to open them, and the creepy actors were everywhere. They yelled, and ran, all over the place. My fear just got worst.…

I used to love reading. In kinder and first, my nose was stuck in a Magic Tree House book. Third, fourth, and fifth grade I basically lived at Hogwarts (in my rightfully sorted house, of course, I am a proud Hufflepuff). And in middle school, I discovered THE tween series of my generation, Maximum Ride. Reading was exciting, and even though I had done it for years every time I picked up a book it felt so novel. I was your ordinary bookworm until seventh grade when the joint power of Ms. Green’s teaching and James Patterson’s writing broke my will to read.…

I looked at my mom, then at the seat next to her. Dad couldn’t come because of a meeting, but I didn’t care! I couldn’t hold myself together, I felt like I was going to explode into little sparkles of excitement. My excitement is about to burst out of my chest. I’m going on an airplane! Then I heard a horrendous sound like nails on a chalkboard, my body jerked forward, I smelt the metal nasty smell of blood, lastly darkness closed in on me, tight.…

Augustus Waters from The Fault in Our Stars once spoke, "I'm on a rollercoaster that only goes up my friend." At one point in my life, I found this quote to be totally insignificant. Now that I look back on my teenage years, I see it. The rollercoaster only went up from the point I opened my big, fat, attitude infested, mouth to my step-mother, Verona. The take off was bumpy, as well the entire rest of the journey up. Though it did eventually come down, not only going up. I came down an entirely different person and didn't have to think of life as a fictional roller coaster to stay happy.…

On the night of Saturday, October 11th, Logan and I went out for a typical Saturday date night. This night in particular we had decided to do a haunted hayride called the Gauntlet at Harvest Hill Farm. The night was going well, we were enjoying one cheap scare after another. Until, suddenly the ride in front of us tumbled down a hill and rolled over. I don't recall thinking at all,…
