The Role of Money & Happiness In our Life
The Role of Money & Happiness In our Life
Why is it important to be happy? Well, for one thing, by word meaning itself, we feel better. Happiness does not just make us enjoy life more; it actually affects how successful we are in both our personal and professional life. Happiness makes people more sociable and altruistic, it increases how much they like themselves and others, and it strengthens their immune systems. Most of the people when asked what would make them happy would certainly reply – more money. Is it really possible to buy happiness? I believe strongly no.
In my opinion the best situation is “no money no cry”, I think it supports the importance of happiness in our life, moreover it tells us that role of money is not the essential one. The happiness is a word that consists of cheerfulness, care and gladness; indeed we do not need much money to create it. On the other hand, the happiness is difficult to define because every people have their own perception to describe it but money just can’t match it anyway.
People consider that money can buy the happiness by acquiring all necessities. However I believe to keep our self healthy is the main reason behind happiness. In conclusion, happiness is an essential part of human life which ensures different perception and no one can measure it. That is why the happiness is due to some distinct issues, such as belief in God, finance sector and healthy. However, sincerity and grateful on what we possess now will create the happiness easily. Just enjoy your own life.

After reading, “ Why Money doesn’t buy happiness,” of Sharon Begley, I have read another essay similar to this one in high school before. This question has been asked for years, everyone has different answers for it, “Does money buy happiness?”- By the author, the economy where people try to get as much as for what they sell as they can, when where people try to pay as little as they can for things they want to buy, the more they can earn/save money, the more contentment they have. The main purpose of this essay is to convince people that not the more money you have, the happier you must be, there are a lot of unhappy rich folks out there are depressed and suicide everyday, but it does give you more choices, which mean money bring you more…

The question as to whether happiness is defined by money is often times brought up. Many people would argue that money does not create happiness, and rather make the argument that happiness is created through what you make out of your life. On the other hand, one could argue that happiness is related to monetary gains, and that the more money you have the happier you are. There are probably a hundred different thoughts on what happiness is, but happiness is truly defined as when someone acquires personal satisfaction in life, which can often times be achieved through monetary gains.…

The idea that most people have in their heads of what being happy would be like usually involves money, lots of it too. As far statistics show we have tripled our buying power from 1050 to 2000 but our happiness has stayed the same. On the contrary, anxiety levels in children have gone up since 1950. So we can conclude that money does not buy happiness.…

What is happiness? Is it to have money? Is it to stay with the one you loved? All of them can be happiness up to different people with different thought. According to Charissa Newark’s article she thought that happiness was to have a boyfriend, being pretty, having friends, etc. Then she stopped, she thought that she has to start thinking like an adult. Later she thinks about it again, then she said “Happiness is being comfortable with your own skin, being surrounded with people you you truly care about, and have a good amount of wisdom.” I agree with Ms Newark. It’s such a simple wants, but it’s could really give you happiness.…

It seems to be believed that happiness can be bought. This is because we are living in a society which is surrounded by a desire for material gain. When they have finished paying, for example, the will find themselves empty and still not contented with what they have. Happiness cannot be found in big houses or expensive cars because material belongings are only superficial and will soon disappear. It is necessary to focus attention on the more important things like family and love in order to be happy. This means it will be found the happiness through moral conduct. What makes a person happy? Happiness is an endless path in life. Everyone has a different opinion about what makes them happy. People have always been attentive to the issue of what makes humans happy. However, getting a large amount of money is a pursuit for many people, especially the young generation around the world. In the article, “Get Happy” by Walter Mosley, he states how, “Happiness is considered by most to be a subset of wealth” (87). Quote above explains how money is the first thing that comes in person’s mind that make them happy because with the money one can buy anything he wants. Money is one of the most important things in over lives because we need it to have a home to live in, food to eat, clothes to wear, and to get from here to there. That’s where the “money can buy happiness” phrase comes in because people believe that since money can buy everything it can buy happiness too. However, I disagree and believe that happiness primarily comes from relationships.…

“Money never made a man happy yet, nor will it,” is a quote that inventor and statesmen Benjamin Franklin said. Like many quotes and opinions there is always two sides to it. Some believe money can never buy happiness but others believe that money is a key necessity in life to be happy. I personally believe that money can buy happiness depending on how you use it for reasons like generally making life easier, having a peace of mind, and being able to live a stress free life. Although money cannot buy things like family nor true friends the concept of “having money” has a tendency to make people feel better about life.…

Another reason for me to deny the idea of money can bring happiness is that money often leads to greed. Status show that the average index of happiness dropped in the last 50 years. On the opposite, our economy has experienced its best period. Clearly the boost of income and the raise of living standard didn’t bring us happiness. The problem here is we get greedier as we have more money. We become harder to be satisfied. However, there’s…

On the one hand, happiness is a state of the mind that people have the feeling of joyfulness. Satisfaction, merely, are getting high mark, enjoying simple foods with family without worrying anything in life, etc. these wishes appear to be no connection with fortune. In contrast, the majority of people permanently think that having good food, fashion, big house, luxurious car is happiness. Thus, they try their best to earn money regardless of health or family. However, it is irony that although living standard is better and better, the number of people who say they are very happy has declined, especially, in industrial countries. For example, the divorce rate and the suicide rate are simultaneously increasing, more citizens than ever are morbidly depressed. Clearly, wealth cannot by happiness.…
