To my mind at present it's almost everywhere: we see or hear a lot of advertisements on the TV sets, in the underground, on billboards, in newspapers and in the public transport. Today it's almost impossible to imagine our lives without advertisements. Don't you think so?

The main aim of advertisers is to attract your attention and then to make you buy this or that product whether you like it or not. There are intrusive advertisements for example those on the TV; in such a case you understand the aims of advertisers and it's more difficult for them to make you buy their product. The only way to make you buy it is to persuade you with the help of logical arguments that you really need it. But there is another type of advertising, I mean secret advertisements. Have you ever paid attention to a great amount of sweeties and other small and more often unnecessary things near the cash desks in supermarkets? It goes without saying that while standing in a long queue and examining all these goods you will certainly buy at least one. As experiments show this trick works with 97% of customers!

Though I know very well all these tricks sometimes even I can not refuse myself in small joys of life and allow myself to give in. For example several days ago when I was passing near a shop with watches my attention was attracted by a poster in its window. It was simple but at the same time very magnificent: a beautiful young girl put her head on the arm with Atlantus watches and watched into the distance. There was nothing extraordinary in this poster but I think that it appealed to my heart; and I decided to come in.

Nearly in fifteen minutes I was leaving the shop, but not without buying. I bought gold earrings. But certainly I wouldn't buy them if I wasn't attracted buy
