IV. THE ROLE AS A LEADER
Peter Drucker famously stated that "management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things." Leaders not only help themselves but also others to do the right things. Leaders set direction, build an inspiring vision, and do some innovations for the project. Yet, while leaders set the mainly direction, it is important for them to use management skills to guide and instruct their employees to the right destination, in a smooth and efficient way.
As a leader,the first thing I should do is to create an inspiring vision of the future for the project. Because we are running a project for a brand new innovative version of printers software. It is essential for us to know the stakeholder requirements. What

1. Using an online workspace for this project management and collaboration.
It is easy to lose touch with project information, emails, specific document versions and time schedules when our team are managing on the project.So it is wise to begin the project by designating a center place for all employees to conduct the project. By creating this one-stop location to check all materials, track project information, and compare schedules, our team will streamline the whole collaboration process and make things keep pace with the time.
2. Creating a clearly defined goal and set a deadline
When starting this project, it is critical to set a goal for the entire project, set deadline against them as well. I will surely make all parts of the team be able to track and know precisely what is expected of whom and when. For example, I give three developer two months to develop this complex embedded system to satisfy the requirement from stakeholders. And the deadline for the graudated students to test the system are four weeks. The highly experienced developer will take responsible for maintaining the system and give instruction to others. In this way, the entire project ultimately will deliver a higher quality

There are several approaches that can improve the enthusiasm of the employees. First, a wonderful working environment will increase the opportunity for workers to think of good ideas of the project.So it is vital to form a harmonious working environment. Second, there is no such person that can work without relax all the time. I prefer to supply a set of entertainment facilities such as scooters and ping pong tables for works to take a rest after tiring work.Third, set a reasonable incentive salary system, bind the interests of the employees’ and the project’s together. In this way, not only will the employees think they are making contribution to the project, but also do something to benefit
