I strongly believe that the age of the book doesn’t really affect the book, because of its important contents the book provides. I think the author’s audience would be scholars or students. He wants his viewers to be aware of educated facts which are also taught in the classrooms of American History students. He clearly states that his main purpose for writing the book was to focus on Teddy Roosevelt’s personal life, and to let his audience know the true life of Theodore Roosevelt. His sources were from interviews with members of the Roosevelt’s family and with various authors like, Mrs. Ethel Derby and Mr. Archibald Roosevelt. These interviews he had with the individuals listed provided some of the original documents in the book.
