The Rise And Fall Of Juan Peron
Juan Peron was born on October 8, 1895, in the city of Lobos, Buenos Aires provincia, Argentina; He died on July 01, 1974 in Olivos, Argentina at the Age of 78. Peron had an image on what his future was going to consist of, and what he wanted to accomplish. He began his early life entering into the military to serve as a colonel, which had soon set him up to become the minister of war and then vice president. With the power of the people in Peron’s hand, he wanted to lead the people of Argentina in victory to build a strong and just nation. This led to Peron being elected as President of Argentina on three incidents in years of (1946,1955, and 1973). This coup was organized to abolish the civilian government to support the new government for the secretary of labor and social welfare. After the years of this new government being established, Peron’s power grew, and became very well known all over Argentina. The GUO government, mainly Peron had seized to take control during Argentina’s downfall: The argentinian system of government had weakened, economic problems grew from the Great depression, social divisions also caused by economic problems, fear of growth in communism, and ideological of government approval of the GUO. These main conflicts were taken into the hands of GUO and specifically Peron, which was to accomplish to unite the people and used his political opinions to build a strong unity. He was appointed as the Minister for Labor, for his accomplishments. Peron rose to power by showing great charisma in his work causing other members in the GUO to turn against him. This led to Peron to being imprisoned , but shortly was later released because of his supporters forming protests. During his presidency , Argentina became weak due to severe economic distress. In 1949, inflation grew at 31% from a trade deficit which caused foreign competition. This began to hurt Argentinian business in the raw material company prices dropping. Argentina was forced out of the European market, and suffered a drought causing Argentinian agriculture having a lower harvest yield. Unwanted price and wage controls, became extreme levels of debt for Argentina. Peron’s pursuit to pay off the debts, concluded to cause more inflation due to increasing the money supply. After the death of his wife Eva in 1952, her support from her organization “Eva Peron Foundation” and the poor workers “Descamisados” began to weaken showing very little support. Sources from his acquaintances began to unreveal of Peron having numerous relationships with underage girls that was later released in newspapers. These allegations were followed by Peron and his wife Eva of embezzlement and fraud from his wifes “Eva Peron Foundation” as well. As his power and support began to disappear, he pursued to legalize divorce and prostitution which took a toll on the people in Argentina.
