The Purpose Of The Apollo Project
In the 1960's there were people who wanted to land on the moon. They wanted to take a rocket ship and have a human land on the moon and then safely return them home. The motivation for this project was received by President Dwight D. Eisenhower as he purposed the idea. It was later accomplished during John F Kennedy Administration to complete the Apollo project.
The question that they wanted to prove was if it was possible for a man to land on the moon and return safely home. This was accomplished multiple times and was successful as well as having some failures along the way. Overall the program is seen as a huge success as they were also able to return 842 pounds of lunar rocks and soil back to earth. This was done so that scientist could
