What are the purpose and benefits of homework? Many students ask this question and they just don’t realize the benefits that they get when they do their homework. Most students think that homework isn’t necessary, but teachers think the opposite and they think that homework is essential for a student. Most students don’t like homework because it takes up their time from doing whatever they want. Not only the students have to do the homework, but the teachers have to check it.
There are purposed why the teachers give out homework. They don’t give it to you because they want you to have a hard time or to waste your time at home. Sometimes doing homework can be difficult, but it is a way to detect how much the student is understanding. Teachers can figure out what lessons the students need help with and what he is doing great on by checking the homework. Teachers don’t have that much time to explain about the lesson in class so they don’t know if the students get what they are saying. They give the students homework to see if they understand what they have been taught. There are more benefits for doing homework. One of the benefits is that it can help you get prepared for upcoming tests. Without homework, you wouldn’t know if you understand the lesson or not. It can help you reinforce anything you learned in class so you can get an A on the test. Doing homework can help with time management and responsibility. These are two of
